Kind of miss those days when music was more regional.

Don Henley must die! Die, why no...
Top priority for the first mission for the Time Tunnel: Go back and kill Don Henley's father before he's conceived.

What did one Deadhead say to the other after the drugs wore off?
Man, this band sucks.

"Hung, drawn, and quartered, while set on fire in a bath of boiling acid." Worse yet, subjected to the screeching and caterwauling that is Robert Plant...

Not so much the band, as the lead singer. He went on to do the gayest sounding song ever, Desert Moon. Renegade was a good song, but that was Tommy Shaw's song.
If you ever heard him talk, you'd swear he was a sword swallower.
I haven't heard that term in a long time. LOL.

Indeed.
ESPECIALLY when he attempts Bach. Eek.

Amen brother. Now about a bit of the number one Soul Shouter and Funk Machine of all-time - The Godfather of Soul, James Brown. This is from the TAMI show that can be found in its entirety on YouTube. This guy’s moves make me dizzy. It seems he’s actually levitating. Rick Rubin (producer of Johnny Cash and the RHCPs), calls Brown’s performance “the single greatest rock & roll performance ever captured on film.”

I actually walked out on the Dreadful Grape once. The Stones opened for them, but only to allow Jerry his three hour solos. I also gave up on a hot chick once upon learning that she liked the Grape. Big mistake!

Now when I think of REO Speedwagon, I think of Billy Madison, when he makes his triumphant return to high school wearing an REO Speedwagon T-Shirt, and all the students looking at him like he came from another planet. In high school, I had an REO Speedwagon concert T shirt with this on it
Which I named "lady luck" and wore it to school whenever there was a test my senior year! It helped.

You are so right about Jeff Beck. Sad that so many thought Beck was a great guitarist and never heard of Al Di Meola. Terry Kath from Chicago is another musician from that age that few understood his enormous skill. I bet you are a musician.

Chet and Roy Both could tape 8 of their fingers together and still outplay any modern day Country Guitar King.

Absolutely. If Lifeson worked with a lesser rhythm section, he would probably be revered as a god.
