Rock 'n' roll icon Paul Anka has dropped a bombshell revelation in his new book about his fabulous career - he had a sizzling affair with gorgeous Disney star Annette Funicello. Read all about his passionate romance with the stunning Mouseketeer and the shocking secrets he reveals about Frank Sinatra, Johnny Carson and Ted Kennedy.
I think I understand the outrage here. Regardless of what was going on between/among those kids at the scene, the public image of Annette was that of an eternal virgin, sort of like a younger version of Doris Day (”I knew Doris before she was a virgin” — Oscar Levant), and many here apparently had bought into it. The Globe is still saying that Bush and laura are going to get divorced as soon as he leaves the WH. They are truly bad.
In view of the fact that Annette passed away today, I’m wondering if this article is an attempt by all to get some headlines. Rags like the Globe love to run idiotic articles titled “So-and-so’s last days”. They probably knew the poor woman was passing over very soon.
Fred Astaire?
If he really admitted this, what a cad. Stay classy Paul...
Miss Schmunck, my 5th grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary, was my first female sex object.
Paul purchased the song (music) from the French writer and added his own lyrics as a homage to Sinatra.
Yes. And Derek Hough, who like Fred Astaire with Adele, is dance partners with his sister Julianne.
