The Scorsese documentary of The Band, The Last Waltz, raised the bar for concert documentaries through the roof. Unlike most, it is a good movie even if you never heard of The Band before.

I resemble that Slur, still have long hair, live with 3 dogs and a cat so yeah I got fleas, dope stuff, well only a couple of times a year to recover a lost appetite-Surgery has been cruel...LOL.....Still Love the Music. Last night included Allman Brothers AND Mahogany Rush. Thanks for the Thread, should be fun.

I was an oddball hippie, always very Conservative. Learned to play (sort of) lap steel one day, and played this tune at the first Milwaukee “Be In.” We were the big hit of the show!
