These criminals certainly stand out in a crowd - they all have rather distinctive tattoos on their faces. The mugshots show them with bizarre designs or phrases plastered on their foreheads.

I double-checked. The teardrop signifying child sexual assaulter is in Australia so I guess it is not the case here.
The “psycho”, though, doesn’t look professional, and may well have been done by force.

Jerome Smith, 27, from Ohio, America has 'Genius' (spelled with a J) tattooed on his forehead. The 'Jenius' criminal was arrested for battery (Rex Features)
Looks like "G" to me: Doesn't look like it was altered after the fact.

Or NOT??? This guy obviously through this through and made it a possible point of ambivalence.
If the witness can’t discern between the two, positive identification is impossible! Any lawyer worth his salt could get that ID tossed on the indeterminacy!
(this might be extreme sarcasm but, as in at least 2 stories I have read today, closer to reality than any of us like...)
