Hahahahahaha!!
I think there’s a good chance Paula will be back next year...
I know. That was so lame. Though, I realized that I would much rather have Pauler and her infamous coke cup than that witchy Ho that occupies the chair next to Keith. At least Pauler was entertaining.
I think the platform on her pumps was about 3 inches high, though. Holy cow.
First up is Angie. She joins Seacrest in the center of the stage. We have to sit through a recap of last night's performances and Jimmy Iovine's critiques.
He liked the first song (the Tribute to Boston at the piano), but didn't care for the second song (Halo)
Minaj: Jimmy doesn't know what he's talking about.
No verdict yet. Seacrest dispatches her back to her seat.
Calls up Candice. In the recap they mention her cover of Paula Abdul's "Straight Up" last night.
Seacrest asks Randy if he was able to get in touch with Paula, see what she thought of Candice's cover?
Randy: Dude, it's the craziest thing. I tweeted her, I called her. I haven't heard back from her.
Seacrest: She forgot about us already?
Paula Abdul walks out on stage. Audience cheers
The judges and the crowd jump to their feet.
Paula: I have been watching this remarkable lady week after week. I'm the biggest fan ever. (they hug)
Seacrest asks the current judges if Paula can sit in for tonight. Randy waves her down, lets her have his seat.
Pre-planned of course, but it was fun to watch. Espspecially watching Paula walk stiffly down to the table.
Gah ... speaking of weird faces—Clay Aiken.
Clay looks strange.
DialIdol cracks me up. If you check their predictions for last week, they showed all six of the contestants in a statistical tie, then they predicted that all six of them had the possibility of being anywhere from 1st place to 6th place. Then they declared 100% accuracy when Lazaro got the boot. Their raw numbers did show Lazaro had the second highest number of votes in that 6-way statistical tie.
This week they show all five of the contestants in a statistical tie, with the prediction that all five of them will end up somewhere between 1st and 5th place. They do show Janelle in 5th place in that 5-way statistical tie.
They’ve gotten worse every year since they don’t/can’t measure text messaging. But, I think Janelle will be going home tonight anyway. That’s my predition anyway.
NC voted overwhelmingly to ban gay marriage in our state constitution last year--LOL :)
He sounds really good though...
I bet if Lazaro was still there he'd be more interested in Aiken's performance than he was in Carrie Underwood's.
I can’t look at the TV.
Tonight's show may break the gaydar.
Sometimes they are right on and sometimes way off.
Measuring busy signals I think is a legitimate predictor but it seems like they
only do it for the first hour after the show airs on the east coast and don’t
take the other time zones in their predictions.
I'm just surprised they'd have them both on the same night. It's like they're breaking the Ghostbusters rule: they're crossing the streams.
Just got in after driving on the “highway to Hell” (bad snow storm here and drivers that are more effed up than a soup sandwich) AND I get here just in time to listen to yet another TInkerbell sing.......(Im gonna go back out into the snow!)
AND we have Fantasia and her yelping to look forward to? GEEZUZ< this show is truly scraping the bottom of the barrel!
I say they use the save tonight, because I fear their precious Amber is going to be in the bottome.I still maintain that voters get sick to death of those idiot judges damn near begging us to vote for her.
LOL
Yeah, he’s been a loudmouth since he decided to step out of the closet and adopt a baby. :^(
He has an amazing voice, and I have always thought so, but I really don’t want to know about his...um...proclivities.
Simon and Paula coming back are the only thing that could save this trainwreck.
She’s really tiny. Years ago one of my coworkers cousin’s got through to Hollywood week and said he was really surprised to see how little Paula was.
agree
