Hi Jonny - love the pic!
This season is two weeks shorter than usual. Started a week late and it will end a week early.
"Straight up" Reggae?
See, your problem is,,, you are expecting a Hollywood Liberal to actually have empathy and recognise terrorism and put the focus on someone and something other than themself....and there is no place for that on TV! /s
Howdy!!

Lazaro Arbos
Angie Miller
After being attacked by this year’s group of American Idol contestants all season long, VFTW’s Lazaro Arbos is ready to fight back as he’s saying one of the remaining girls is an evil psycho bitch...
Im not gonna say names and I dont wanna sound rude, Lazaro told ABC News Radio backstage at Live with Kelly & Michael earlier in the week. But I think that one woman in particular is cra-a-a-a-z-y and she wants to win! Lazaro would not say if the contestant was Kree, Candice, Amber, Angie or Janelle, but he thinks that she whoever she is needs to chill out. Big time. She thinks that were in The Hunger Games and shes fighting for her life, dished Lazaro about the mystery contestant. She needs to realize that its not about winning: its about what you do after the show.
I wonder which girl Lazaro could be talking about? I suppose there was that incident a couple weeks back of Angie Miller attacking Lazaro on Twitter. And I suppose there’s this Tweet from Lazaro’s sooo awesome sister...
Mlooks like Minaj has her bra on backwards
American Idol Press Release Confirms They Have to Use the Save This Week

American Idol Updates
Anyone who can count to 10 knew that American Idol would have to use the save this season. With 10 weeks of finals and 10 contestants, the save would have to be used for the finale to end on time. Well Idol made it even more obvious that they are going to use the save by listing that the top 4 will be performing on May 1st in a press release. Since we have 5 contestants right now, and they still have to perform on April 17 and April 24, and the save must be used by the top 5... the conclusion isn’t hard to figure out.
So get ready to watch one of the favorites SHOCKINGLY ELIMINATED this week and the judges will save her. Do yourself a favor and skip Thursday’s show. It’s bound to be horribly painful (not to mention pointless) to watch. If Idol decides to change their own rules and eliminate someone on Thursday, next Thursday’s show will then be pointless. Wait, who are we kidding, all of the episodes of Idol this year are pointless.
Im willing to put money on the fact that NONE of the white chicks are whom Mumbles is talking about!
Hated the song when Pauler sang it and hate it even more now.
Yeah... she sang it real well... but the song is a sleeper.
Two songs each again this week. First hour will be "Songs From The Year You Were Born", second hour is "Favorite Diva Song"
Candice sings Paula Abdul's "Straight Up", but turns it into a slower song instead of a dance tune. It works.
Keith: Wooooo! Such a great version of that song. You're vocals are incredible. Such control. Like the slow wink from someone across a bar, that's what her runs are like.
Minaj: I want to congratulate you on making it to the Top 5. You kept on pushing on. I love strong women. This performance showed you're the boss. That song makes me very happy. Love that you put your own spin on it.
Randy: Made the song even more current. You're having fun. Like, man, ain't nothing can go wrong now. Letting it flow. Gotta give a big shout out to my girl Paula Abdul! That's her joint!
Mariah: Unpredictable. Smart. Song choice? Genius. Feel good song. Putting that Candice (waves her hand) on it.
Candice tells Seacrest that Janelle picked this song for her.
Candice: Thank you, Janelle!
