Having lost both of her parents early in her life think she sincerely appreciates friendship in its real sense.
My mom lost both her parents before she was twenty. She’s lived almost twice as long now as they did and she’s still dealing with it.

Just lost my Dad this Nov, Mom was a few years earlier, fortunate that I enjoyed a long time with them. Losing them early has to be tough.

thanks for sharing that personal comment.

Candace is amazing....Church guy needs to sing gospel. Only. Gospel...

Yes.

Prediction for tonight:

Urkel has to sing for his life.

After a stirring rendition of "My Shermy Amorb", the audience chants SAVE SAVE SAVE!

Seacrest: Judges, will you use the save on Burnell?

Randy: Unfortunately, Ryan, it is not unanimous. We won't be using the save.

Seacrest: (turns solemly to Urkel) Sorry, Burnell. It's been a pleasure to have you on the show. Now stay tuned for Glee!

Haha...that sounds about right, Jonny! According to Dial Idol, Burnell is last joined by Janelle and Candace in the Bottom 3. Angie is #1.

Watched your You Tube video.

Well done.

Now I can see why you can comment so accurately on the musical performances.

Liked your singing also on the track :) ;)

Candice is in the bottom three??? She’s my favorite in the competition, followed closely by Amber.

From American Idol Net

( P.S. They should just ask us first instead of doing this )

100 Percent Safe: Angie Miller, Kree Harrison, Candice Glover

Most Likely Safe: Amber Holcomb

Possibly The Bottom Three: Lazaro Arbos, Burnell Taylor, Janelle Arthur

Probably Going Home: Burnell Taylor

Scenario #2

100 Percent Safe: Angie Miller, Kree Harrison, Candice Glover

Most Likely Safe: Janelle Arthur

Possibly The Bottom Three: Lazaro Arbos, Burnell Taylor, Amber Holcomb

Probably Going Home: Lazaro Arbos

Or …

Surely it can’t be SO obvious that every single week only a guy goes home until they’re all gone. Can it? I mean if that streak is broken then Janelle or Amber will go home. But which? It doesn’t matter though because if this happens, the judges WILL use their save. Then the following week both guys will go home! Ha. Perfect drama!

I said Burnell is the target at the top of the blog because the judges praised Lazaro Arbos this week even though they shouldn’t. They don’t want the votes to split, so they decided to throw people off and say good things about him so Burnell will go home. And then next week they can focus on Lazaro. And if their plan backfires and Lazaro goes, oh well. It’s a win-win for them.

As I mentioned above, maybe it’s time for a girl to go? At this point I don’t see it happening, but I guess it’s slightly possible. And producers would love the drama of the judges using their save on, say, Amber. I think I’m going to stick to my first bet and go with Burnell as the person most likely to be voted off. And no, the judges will not use their save on him.

Who do you think will be heading home tonight on American Idol 2013?

Thanks man... appreciate it. I’ve played in lots of bands over the years. The singing part isn’t really my gift :). I always played in bands with a “real” singer doing most of the singing. But its fun to mess around in my studio. Thanks again!

Last night was terrible. I didn’t hear one single rock song. They were written as rock songs, to be sure, but these kids just don’t get it. It sounded like an audition for GLEE.

Lazaro forgot the words again in the duet, as I predicted. How the heck can you be an American Idol if you can’t memorize the lyrics? Maybe Obama will lend Lazaro his teleprompters.

My top three: Janelle, Kree, Amber. I’m getting tired of Candice screaming everything. Aretha she is NOT.

Lazaro should go home but the payment from Fidel arrived on time, so the judges will let him go through again.

Amber has the most star potential in the final 7. Her singing has been flawless for the past 2 weeks and her stage presence is stunning.

The folks inhabiting these threads generally prefer Caucasian performers and pull for low-rent mediocre white talent over everything else. They like country or Americana-styled white men the most. They despise beautiful, glamorous, sexy women with powerful voices and sophisticated stylings and prefer 22-year-old guitar strumming dudes who can't sing their ways out of paper bags.

If Lazaro was straight and of Anglo-Saxon descent, the ladies on the thread would be swooning for him.

Kree, Janelle and Candice are great. Lazaro is a flat-out abomination. Burnell is pathetic. Angie has no soul, and will never have any soul...because she won't ever pay a single due.

The music business, and R&B in particular, needs more Amber Holcombs. What a class act.

Still you have a pleasant tone, and enjoyed your multi instrument capability.

Nice looking setup with your studio for a ( i’m assuming) non commercial
Guy.

See you on the thread tonight

I say Burnell. You say Lazaro. Winner gets an Attaboy from the other.

Deal ? :):)

P.S. does Keith Urban have a Dick Morris Foot Fetish going with the boot thing....

He sure seems to.

"I like your boots."

"I like your boots."

"What's wrong with your toe?"
