Forget Anastasia Steele, the hottest guessing game from the Beltway to Hollywood is who will play a young Hillary Clinton and hubby Bill in a new flick about the 70s-era romance between the young, ambitious Washington lawyer and a down home Arkansas boy with big political ambitions.
But here at the Track, were all about who will play ex-Gov. Bill Weld. Because, according to the screenwriter, there is a scene in which Hillary the youngest lawyer on the House Judiciary Committee engages in office flirtation with co-counsel Weld.
Were all worked up picturing the young Hill a hippie chick out of Wellesley College with coke-bottle glasses, wild out-of-control hair and a weird 70s wardrobe getting all steamy with the rangy redheaded Harvard blueblood as they plot to impeach Richard Nixon.
As for Hillary, the interwebs are awash in speculation over who will be cast in that choice role. Leading the pack is Gangster Squad sweetheart Emma Stone, followed in no particular order by Jennifer Lawrence, Claire Danes, Kristen Stewart and Scarlett Johansson.
Obviously, the pundits have not watched Anne Hathaways big screen breakthrough The Princess Diaries in some time, because she nails the early Hillary look there.
Oh, baby ... Obstruction of justice! Pant, pant, high crimes and misdemeanors!
You get the picture BTW, Rodham, was chosen as one of the top 10 unproduced scripts on this years Black List, an annual poll of more than 300 film execs on their favorite screenplays. It is in production at Temple Hill Entertainment, the company that brought the Twilight saga to the big screen.

I’m sure glad you said that! (I don’t do movies after about 1974) & didn’t pay attention to who the actors were on tv, either. (We quit tv 6+ years ago)
All the propaganda (Lincoln, Django, this latest tripe from Oliver Stone, etc) must not be workin’ as well as they hoped. Billary *always* nets a positive /s.
Sheesh.
I have heard of only 2 of those women named as possible picks to play Hitlery. Wouldn’t know either one if I saw them though. I guess that the only time I become familiar with the name of an actor or an actress is when they do something to get themselves covered on the news.
It may be difficult to find an actress with ‘Thunder-Thighs’.
