My Siamese cats would do that, and not just for food.

I’ve got a 10-month-old kitten who is quite the jumper. Wonder if I can get her to jump for kitty treats?

Cool! But the first cat actually made two jumps; ground to fence, fence to treat. Second cat did much better!

Heck i have GSD that almost could do that when going after a squirrel. We call her the huntress.

I watched a friend give a tiny bit of beer in a bottle cap to a very small kitten. She sniffed it, took a taste, and instantly jumped straight up about 18 inches.

thanks navysealdad. You put up the best cat videos!
i saw one on Youtube -— some guys were videoing pheasants from behind a blind and got a good shot of one flying into the air and then out of nowhere a lynx explodes upwards like it was rocket-propelled and got the pheasant. I have never been able to find it again. It was amazing.

I think the bird population would be high. Well higher than 10ft.

Think link did not work me either until I noticed that it directed me to the mobile version. Once I clicked on desktop it ran fine.
The one cat about 2:00 in goes full out on speed and I think if he stopped running he could probably get 2-3 full loops in the wheel just by digging in the claws.
