What are your three favorite action movies?
Add me to the list for Bullitt, Die Hard and Ronin...
Plus: Top Gun, The Three Kings and Kelly’s Heroes.
Back atcha........
Debbie Does Dallas......
BUT, the topic was great action movies and this trilogy scores high on all counts.
Bump for reference & thanks.
Aliens! Terminator 2.
The Longest Day
Midway
Tora Tora Tora
“really, better than this one?”
You know what we call that in LA?
The eleven o’clock news.
The Road Warrior! How could I have forgotten that one! I probably watched it a dozen times. By far the best of the Mad Max movies.
“It’s my snake; I trained it, I’m going to eat it.”
“Suspect our tastes in music might be similar”
If you like The Who, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Beatles & Pink Floyd....
THE WAGES OF FEAR(1953)
YES! One of my favorites!
***Bro’, you got an insane memory, or that list was pre-prepared***
All those are in my personal collection. And I got dozens more I haven’t mentioned along with lots of Westerns.
I got them all listed. :-D
Just watched ZULU again last night!
I saw it and their were some vets in the audience and I heard sniffles at the end. Very Powerful movie and one of Mels best. So if we are talking action and including Military I want to say Hamburger Hill still one of the best Vietnam movies, sadly overshadowed by Platoon a POS movie showing the worst of our men in Vietnam.
If it ain’t Pink Floyd it ain’t Shiite! See you on the Darkside of the moon!
I will have to see The Four Feathers
It has been made into a movie several times and all are good!
I saw a very good B&W version, Korda’s color version (the best), a made for TV version and the new 2002 version.
I have not seen STORM OVER THE NILE, but have seen EAST OF SUDAN which uses some of the footage in a different story of the same happenings. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060362/
It doesn’t exist. There is no boat house at the Regiment training grounds in Hereford.
“It doesnt exist. There is no boat house at the Regiment training grounds in Hereford.”
Heh heh heh ... nice catch.
Would you have caught the coffee cup?
Dirty Dozen
and my ultimate guilty pleasure because of the ridiculous cheese: Demolition Man
The "D" motif was purely incidental
I LOVE Ride with the Devil !!!!
