Wow--Larry Johnson also talking about this on the No Quarter blog. Jennifer Griffin "not sure" where the Kelley story originated. Developing, I'm sure...
And they want the story to be about everything but the movement of WMD.
Of course they are/do. It's there number one play from their playbook. Nothing has changed. No one seems capable of fixing it.
Too late to be posting ;)
It just gets curiouser and curiouser. I still don’t get why the FBI was looking into this. They waited until September to take a look and see if any charges could be brought? Wouldn’t they have done that right away? Classified documents? For Official Use Only (FOUO) is technically “classified” but probably nothing concerning national security. I still think that if I’m Kelley, and I’m a friend of Petraeus, and I receive an e-mail from his “normal” government e-mail account that has no name at the bottom and says “Stay away from my man!”, I would call Petraeus and not the FBI. Curiouser.
They are in extra panic because they know that the Pres of the US is responsible for both the PC policies relating to the mission’s lack of security, and the failure to give the OK to enter Libya in the in extremis operation. Only one person could stop the mission and TURN it back, and as far as that one person was concerned, he was willing to throw not an ambassador and three other people away, but many more. (And probably on the advice of his office orc Valerie Jarrett.)
Now, donning my tinfoil hat: Let’s say someone is trying to quietly bury this WMD investigation as assertively as those who tried to shut down the Niger-Iraq investigation- it would be darn convenient if the entire WMD investigation team didn’t make it home.
Affairs invariably get messy. This one is no different.

Did this article leave anything out? Serious question, I am trying to get the full picture.
