I'm fortunate enough to have a decent job. Where I work, there's around 800 employees. One of my friends told me that Glen Beck has a channel on DishNet called "The Blaze". I went there about 5 days ago. And since then, I haven't turned on Fox News one time.
I like Fox News and glad they are there. But I've become sick and tired of O'Reilly. Hannity has either Juan Williams and Bob Becker on his show, it seems, almost every night. It's Hannitys show and he can do what he wants. But, I can't stand Williams and Becker. They are the enemy. I don't care to listen to them debate each other. I don't care what they have to say. All I want to do is beat them. Period!
So far, or at least I haven't noticed, The Blaze doesn't have any counter points. They are trying to get the message out without diluting it with left-wing BS so it gives the impression of being balanced.
My hats off to Beck. He's has guts. And DishNet really surprised me by carrying his channel. I will bet money, as The Blaze becomes noticed they will be hated with more vigor and vim then Fox News.
I would guess directv is not to far behind picking it up as well.
They have a website?
I quit cable over 2 years ago... havn’t missed it a bit.
The “Fair and Balanced” format is a loser with me as well. Arguing with liberals - whether callers on talk radio or guests on Fox - really turns me off, and I then turn them off.
Fox, BTW, is 1/3 owned by the Saudis. ‘Nough said.
I’ve watched Beck’s channel a few times since DiSH picked it up. I already don’t watch Fox anymore. I watched the first debate on Fox because Beck is not in HD yet. However, I decided to watch the post debate on the Beck channel, as I’m sick of listening to libtards defend Obama in these events. I have to say, watching it on The Blaze threw me off a bit. They all trashed Obama and portrayed the debate as a huge win for Romney. I was thrown off because I didn’t know at the time that even the lib media outlets were portraying it the same way!
I've been a subscriber since the beginning.
I said it the time: Juan Williams was a plant. It worked. He’s destroying Fox and they can’t get rid of him.
I wish cable would pick him up.
This topic has been discussed in large groups in which I’m involved. Fox News is slowly losing viewers and if big money gets behind Beck, we’ll see the conservative audience divided as greatly as the liberal audience is divided.
I watch the Blase all the time. It is the only TV News there is.
How do the chances look? From everything I’ve heard, The Blaze is a winnner hands down.
My problem is finding enough time to watch everything on there. I watch through their app, as I am a subscriber. Hoping the AppleTV goes to an app format so this can be added.
What would really tickle me is is Beck offered showtime to other conservatives. Maybe 1 hour shows aired daily? Maybe Rush Limbaugh? Rush may not accept it, but I wish he’d get the opportunity to decline the offer.
I remember when Rush did have a nightly program on TV. Fox maybe? I remember Rush showing a clip from Clintons Attorney General. A female. I can’t remember her name, but she was talking about guns. She said; we need safer guns and safer bullets. I remember Rush looking at the screen in amazement as she was blabbering. It was hilarious.
He did. Andrew Wilkow - who is my favorite radio host.
Me, too. If comcast ever picks him up (highly doubtful), I’ll kiss Fox News goodbye and never look back. I already watch Fox about 80% less than I used to. It’s become nearly worthless.
Tape Niel Cavuto at 4:00 edt and then watch later. I watch it at 5:00 or sometimes 7:00. That is in 10 minutes
Neil is the best interviewer on TV and has fantastic guests. He presents fair and balanced but liberals get a going over. Many including all from the White House absolutely fear him.
He has humor, some bad actually poor, but mostly good.
I’m going to watch his debate program on his Fox Business Channel tonight.
Thanks for the heads up about Cavuto doing debate coverage on FBN tonight! I like Neil.
