Leno: We Wasted Four Years Waiting For Obama To Do Something About The Economy By Noel Sheppard | September 28, 2012
Jay Leno took some surprising shots at President Obama Thursday night.
During the opening monologue of NBC's Tonight Show, the host said Americans wasted four years for the current White House resident to do something about the economy (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

The has been litterman will be having a field day doing some one liners against Romney and Leno. He’ll probably have Woopie Goldberg on early next week
Took 4 years for ya to figure that out huh Jay...........Dumb-a#%!
The problem with Bill Clinton saying “nobody could have fixed this mess in four years, not even me”, is that everybody knew that Obama had no experience, and they were taking a gamble on a novice.
So what Clinton was saying to them, was basically, “hey, I know that you have doubts about Obama’s competence, but you certainly don’t have any doubts about MY competence, so since you trust ME, but not HIM, trust me when I say that he did as good a job as I could have done”.
In other words, Clinton, someone that the American people think highly of (at least in terms of his political competence), was having to vouch for someone that they have doubts about, due to both his lack of experience, and his inability to solve the problems he was expected to solve.
Now here’s the question.......could you ever picture Clinton, or any other experienced, accomplished politician, having to make that case for an older White guy who couldn’t
get the job done in his first term? I can’t.
The case that Clinton was making had such strong Affirmative Action undertones to it. And I think it will ultimately backfire.
We waited 4 years for the MSM to notice
I was shocked at the SNL Weekend Update show on last night. I happened to catch the opening skit. The new guy who does the Obama imitation did a good job. Actually made Obama look like the fool he is.
lol
Or fully concurred with his obvious goal of destroying this country.
It's a mistake to think that he actually cared about doing something about the economy in the first place. It's the agenda, stupid.
It's beyond that. I'm sure you've encountered the "fans of Zero", they don't care about reality. If Zero was caught murdering and eating nuns & orphans they'd still support him.
The only way to get them to dump him is to ridicule and make fun of him - make Zero the joke that we all know he is
AMEN
Jay didn’t like having his a%* handed to him on payday, instead of his usual compensation!!
Welcome to the club, Jay!
At least He did. There are some, that have still yet to figure it out.
I watched it last night and was shocked. I even LOL a couple of times. I had just heard Lorne Michaels say they just couldn’t find anything to make fun of with Obama in an interview just the other day.
Must have had a few dinners with the Sage of SoCal.
We told Leno that 4 years ago, yet, these liberals will make it sound as if this was their idea.
On the other hand, Jay has been taking shots at the Pres for a while now. Not with the same intensity that goes after conservatives, but taking shots nonetheless. I think he may have had the beginnings of an awakening the last time he had Rush on his show. I don't remember the specifics of the interview, but I do recall a general, "You did build this, Jay, and you shouldn't have to give any of it to the govt," meme coming from Rush. It's strange to think about it now, because that happened over a year ago.
He did do something. That’s why we’re in the mess today.
This is true. The mentality is one of wanting to be allied with the "cool" group - no matter why they're "cool". This is why the faded Obama poster line was effective. Romney's people should double down on that approach by likening Obama to the iPhone 5 mapping fiasco. They need to make him un-hip, passé, cliché, old, stale, yesterday's fashion.
