When people leave their pets locked in a tiny NYC apartment for 12 hours a day, of course they’re going to get fat.

Maybe pet owners should skip feeding Fido or Fluffy a meal and send the money to Obama’s campaign. /s

They don’t normally tell you how many calories are in those doggie treats. Probably a lot.

From my every day experience, I cannot tell my cats what to eat and what not to eat. They tell ME what they want!!!!!...or else!!!!
I also love dogs. I tried to introduce one into our kitty family. The cats had a conference amongst themselves. They then approached me and announced that their suitcases were packed and ready to leave if I were to bring a dog into the/their home.
They won.

Once humans could stop forraging, hunting, gathering and collecting daily in order to stay alive, the time for thinking about other things has expanded vastly.
With some, this time is badly managed.
The Kenyan must go.

There should be laws that regulate what food and medicine can be given to pets. If an immigrant family moves in next door and your pets disappear, you may wind up getting sued for contaminating your neighbors food source. And it might be courteous to make sure the pet food gives the pets a good flavor.
