Find the bright star in the (upper) blue portion of the nebula. Look straight down and you can see the tip of the cat's left ear.
Look down and to the left, and you can see two perfectly symmetrical eyes, with a perfectly formed feline nose between them, exactly where you'd expect it to be.
It gets even weirder. Look above the cat's right eye and you can faintly see its right ear sticking up. If you can now clearly see the face of the cat, look to your right and you will see its entire body.
Even spookier....I can even see the spotted markings on the cat's face, and whiskers.
Nah, you got it all wrong, Windy! The cat you’re pointing us to is a kitten, and it is leaning against its mother, whose profile you can easily see to the left of the little cutie.
LOL! Kidding, kinda!
Yes, I can really see the “kitten,” the entire thing, as you said, body and all. But I really can see its mother too.
I love this sort of stuff. Thanks so much for pointing it out and giving great instructions for finding the images.
Holy moly, I do see a kitteh!! I’m not telling my 2 cats because they would tell me “told you so.,. we do RULE the universe, now give me some mushy food”!
Human brains find patterns in random things. It's a well known phenomenon.Just proves you're human. I see it too.But yeah... I see the cat.
That didn't pop out at me like the face of the big cat (which really looks like a full grown wild cat). I'll look again.
Did you see post 34 where I cropped the picture to just show the face?
I see it now! Those are different illusions than the one I'm talking about. Mine is right between those two.
Looks like my big gray ):
Actually, I’m seeing three cats.
How did you DO that???
My original sighting of the kitten is on the right, and there is another cat in the center, a white kitten with an orange face. Then on the left is a large cat’s profile. The two kittens are in front of the “momma” cat.
This is really a fun picture, Windy! I guess my middle kitten is your original cat, huh? I love this!
I think so. Check the cropped image in post 34. That's the one that looks photographic, and is perfectly symmetrical.
How did you DO that?
How did I crop the image? I just saved the original to my computer, then opened it with MS Paint. There's a cropping tool in there. I then saved that image and posted it.
Glad you're having fun with it :-)
[giggles and smiles]
Someone in Heaven is singing..
Who let the cat out? Who? Who? Who?
LOL! I see three cats there!
Who let the cats out?? Who? Who? Who?
I see a human face a nice nose.
I found what I thought was the cat, but my cat’s head is on top of the bigger cat head. My son found a profile of a cat too.
Yeah, you can make out different cat's faces here and there in the image, but the one I'm talking about looks like someone superimposed an actual photo of a big cat's face on the picture of the nebula.
See post 34. I cropped the image to only show that one cat's face.
Glad you're enjoying it.
A Blast from the Recent Past.
