After five years of marriage, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are getting a divorce, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
"This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family," says Holmes's attorney Jonathan Wolfe. "Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."

Yeah, it’s not really that hard to figure out, since Cruise has done this thing before. Other gay actors have been doing this kind of thing, going back decades. It used to be that the studios would arrange these things themselves, but you may be right that it is prominent gays like Geffen (and maybe Miscavige?) that take up the task nowadays.
The gay actor gets to keep the fans lusting after him, because his hetero hunk myth remains intact, the young starlet gets a boost in the gossip rags by being associated with him, and probably a good cash payout also.
Let’s see, the last 2 things I saw Cruise in, Minority Report and Collateral, long time ago. He was pretty good in those.
Katie Holmes, Batman Begins, “Thank you for Smoking” and that Kennedy Miniseries where she played Jackie (Meh).
Seems like the issue is that Katie doesn’t want their daughter (who is outearning both her parents as the voice of the I-Phone) brought up to believe that the Intergalactic Dictator Xenu (who resembled John Travolta) used volcanoes to turn billions of humans into parasitic radioactive ghosts a million years ago.
Katie is right of course that is obviously just propaganda by L Ron Hubbard and the liberal intergalactic media, Xenu was a great leader who gave the Milky Way 30000 years of balanced budgets and normalized diplomatic relations with the Star Wars galaxy.
It's a personal favorite of mine...I'd put in on my “Top 50 must have movies on DVD”.
Plus, one of my favorite sayings of all time: “Sometimes you just gotta say what the f**k!” (which I find myself using more and more) came from that flick (although it was Curtis “Booger” Armstrong that initially said it in “Risky Business”).
Katie Holmes: Dawson's Creek. I thought Thank you for Smoking was a pretty good flick. Katie talks dirty in it...
Scientology: I couldn't care less about it. And I'd rank it ahead of Islam in terms of religions. At least the Scientologists aren't running around beheading people while screaming “Allah Akbar!” or living in caves molesting their multiple underage wives and livestock.

LOL
That’s right and the goats and camels of the world agree.
Check out Collateral and the last Samurai.
Good movies..
Collateral is excellent..
And the PC (queers, FemaNazis, etc.) crowd that is intent on destroying out nation from within would be the first ones to be decapitated...

The way things are going, they’ll find out.
Last Samurai - I’ve seen it, pretty good.
Collateral - I’ll have to check out.
I’d almost like to see it happen...
Me too.
Scientology isn’t a religion, it’s a multilevel marketing scam / business with a set of weird, required beliefs set out by a doped-up hack scifi writer.
That said, I too prefer it to Islam.
I also prefer LDS to Islam, and to Scientology.
“Minority Report” was based on a P.K. Dick story, not sure how closely of course, but it was an enjoyable, sufficiently paranoid plot. Alas, TC’s acting range runs from A to B.
“Scientology isnt a religion, its a multilevel marketing scam / business...”
REALLY? I did not know that! Whoa...thank you for the info.

Yep.
Romney/Xenu 2012!
I agree with GSP that Collateral is a very good movie.
I’ll have to watch it.
Aspen’s locals can confirm this.
