Let’s see, the last 2 things I saw Cruise in, Minority Report and Collateral, long time ago. He was pretty good in those.

Katie Holmes, Batman Begins, “Thank you for Smoking” and that Kennedy Miniseries where she played Jackie (Meh).

Seems like the issue is that Katie doesn’t want their daughter (who is outearning both her parents as the voice of the I-Phone) brought up to believe that the Intergalactic Dictator Xenu (who resembled John Travolta) used volcanoes to turn billions of humans into parasitic radioactive ghosts a million years ago.

Katie is right of course that is obviously just propaganda by L Ron Hubbard and the liberal intergalactic media, Xenu was a great leader who gave the Milky Way 30000 years of balanced budgets and normalized diplomatic relations with the Star Wars galaxy.

The best thing Tom Cruise ever did IMHO, was “Risky Business”. It's so 1980’s I can almost smell it...and that makes me happy.

It's a personal favorite of mine...I'd put in on my “Top 50 must have movies on DVD”.

Plus, one of my favorite sayings of all time: “Sometimes you just gotta say what the f**k!” (which I find myself using more and more) came from that flick (although it was Curtis “Booger” Armstrong that initially said it in “Risky Business”).

Katie Holmes: Dawson's Creek. I thought “Thank you for Smoking” was a pretty good flick. Katie talks dirty in it...

Scientology: I couldn't care less about it. And I'd rank it ahead of Islam in terms of religions. At least the Scientologists aren't running around beheading people while screaming “Allah Akbar!” or living in caves molesting their multiple underage wives and livestock.

“Minority Report” was based on a P.K. Dick story, not sure how closely of course, but it was an enjoyable, sufficiently paranoid plot. Alas, TC’s acting range runs from A to B.
