The easiest way to say it is just to say it: There are grown men out there who devote themselves to the rainbow-unicorn-sparkly-pastel fantasy world of the childrens TV show My Little Pony. And, more appallingly, its not done ironically they are proud of it.

Boy.....Breitbart’s site must have changed. I left because they were all for the homosexuals. Their military guy couldn’t wait for the repeal of DADT.
It takes some skills to do model anything.
I wonder if they ever soak their little ponies in water and then place them in the freezer. You get some pretty freaky looking ponies that way. (My kids idea. Not mine.)
Back in the eighties and nineties I used to do sci-fi illustration and went to a lot of conventions. These dudes were legion back then, too. It’s not just limited to My Little Pony, it’s any cartoon or children’s property that you can think of. (FYI this isn’t the same as Anime fandom. The majority of Anime fans are straight and at least back in my day most of them weren’t into hentai. They paid good commissions, too.) The Care Bear crew is almost to a “man” A. Gay and B. 100% sex-obsessed. I won’t describe the things these clowns asked me to draw. “Anatomically absurd”, “legally actionable” and “federal offense” will suffice to cover it. They were one of the reasons I packed up my easel (them and the KLS bois n’ hags...ewwww).
From an old Friday Silliness thread IIRC. I laughed at the time and of course when a thread like this pops up I am still glad I have a memory.
I object to that. Those men can dig their own little pony...uh, maybe they do.
I’d actually take landing chicks to be part of the MLP appeal. Kind of the modern version of the ‘sensitive’ pony-tail guy. (No pun intended, but “pony-tale guy’?)
It’s as if in this culture non-violent, degraded virtues are only presented to little girls. Modern pony-tail guys are the ones who are strong enough to favor what our culture promoted in a more innocent era. Also, it is of course spitting in the face of the false masculine culture that says only male protagonists can be tolerated, let alone celebrated, by men.
I find it to be at least an interesting phenomenon.
Or do you prefer Hello Kitty
Model railroading is actually pretty cool. They have some amazing layouts.

is a freak and shouldn'tt be surprised to be looked at as one.
I'd be first in line to point and laugh. There is no reason someone who comes out in public in ridiculous attire shouldn't expect to be ridiculed.
I have trouble enough holding my tongue when I see people wearing pajama bottoms instead of pants at the grocery store!
I have two young grandaughters, and have watched way more ponies than I ever could h ave imagined doing whild babysitting.
BORING. They love it, but WHY? Sappy, sentimental, with no real conflict. Where the hell is Mighty Mouse when you need him?
Guilty as charged. I popped over to the Office Depot one day last winter wearing full 1964 Army missleman kit, all OG-107ed, starched, blocked and spit shined (in my weak pathetic defense I was trying to break in the boots). As I was leaving, a bonafide Army Major in dumpy ACUs walked into the store. As a lowly Spec5 I snapped to full attention and saluted with a smart heel click. The guy looked like he'd seen a ghost! He returned the salute in slow motion...never did tell me to "carry on". LOL.
I vaguely remember seeing “My Little Pony” cartoons a few times when I was a kid in the early 90’s.
Like GI Joe it was a cartoon named after a toy, I think all my girl cousins wanted one. I didn’t know they still made the toy.
Bunch of sissies. Every real man knows Rainbow Brite is da bomb.
That’s just the reaction that long-haired hippies were able to provoke in the 60’s.
Meanwhile, they were the ones getting all the girls.
You just scared my co-workers down the hall with my outburst of laughter!
This story is weird on so many levels!
Out of curiosity I watched episode 1 on YouTube about a month ago. It seemed pretty cool. So I watched episode 2. And 3. I have now watched all 52 episodes. The show is ADDICTIVE! Great writing, complex characters and good animation all combine into something far greater than just a "little girls cartoon".
Go ahead - join the herd (note: you might want to skip the first two minutes)
