I'm in a "safe" zone, but only about 1/2 mile from a wad of zombies!!
Only one cemetery between me and the beer store. I’m good.
Then you know about them.
If zombies are made of dead meat, does that mean they can catch maggots? Would the maggots then also be zombies?
Or when/if their welfare and WIC checks get cut off or inflated out of existance.

They have a small farming town of about 1200 as a zombie central. That's bull.
Also, there is a large triangular portion just south of Kansas City that would be part of zombie central.

there are, or used to be some nice areas of Newport News especially as you traveled North. I guess it is technically North West.
I had a friend who lived in one of those old mansions high overlooking the James River.
Questionable map...shows my ranch and neighboring gun range being in a zombie zone. Nothing here but cattle, corn, and
venison.

When we lived in VA, our last address was right on the Chesapeake Bay.
I could watch Pan’s submarine come in and out of the bay as I sat on the deck of the beach house. It was wonderful place to live.
The history in that area is wonderful... lots of things to see.
We don’t miss it, though. It was time to move on.
I’m in Zombielandia here in NOVA, but actually it won’t be that bad, I can punch the gas pedal and make it into Loudoun county in 5 minutes. Plus I have a 870P shotgun, a Colt .45, and a S&W .357.
My Zombie SHTF plan is fight my way to Hillsville, VA. That place is littered with good ole boys.

I too lived in Virginia Beach right near Fort Story and on the beach.
You are right about all the history. I visited a lot of places but never even came close to seeing everything.

I get it, population centers are potential concentrations for zombies. However, I think they should reduce the zombie danger around military bases and firearms & outdoors stores. Some of us in these areas will be drastically reducing the zombie count in our area. ;-)
