Oh, c’mon. Mr. Sg and I thank the Creator that we have each other to look out for. (I can end the sentence w/o the preposition, but I just don’t care any more.) Looking out for each other is one of life’s greatest blessings. I’m so happy to have the FR UTers!

I’m going to take Anoreth shopping for a handgun this morning. But first, I’m going to assign Bill, who’s supposed to be something on the order of a Young Adult, the task of finding out whether we can get the electronic controller on the stove replaced without replacing the whole stove.
We reached 98 yesterday, but the humidity was 1%, which made the equivalent temperature 112. It felt so GOOD!!!
We also had a pretty stiff breeze by afternoon, and coupled with the heat and humidity, it can suck the moisture right out of a person in no time at all.
Today is supposed to be just like yesterday. :o])
Lablady (daughter) had forgotten she had given one of her employees the afternoon off yesterday, so lunch will take place today.
The water will be shut off at noon today, for repairs out on the street, so I need to take my shower, soon.
Funny, I don’t feel a day older! ;o]
My forecast says 79 and isolated thunderstorms. I picked some peas this morning. It looks like the catnip didn’t come up again; a problem with letting Tom plant it, I think.
Epic Fail Lawn Service must have the subsidiary Epil Fail Horticulture Service.
My A/C just kicked on. It was 81 out when I got up at 0540.
Meh. My forecast is 106. Oh well...
Tom was supposed to do his laundry while Anoreth, Kathleen, and I were at the gun store, but that was an epic fail, too. “You didn’t do your laundry.” “I know.” “But I told you to!” “You did?”
I bought a Sig Sauer 9 mm., on recommendation from Anoreth. She tried it out, after I paid, and says that I like it. I’ll have to go to remedial shooting school when Kathleen is older.
Sig is a rock solid firearm. Enjoy... ;-)
I watched Anoreth shoot it, and it looks like I’ll be able to handle it without too much trouble. She’s smaller than I am.
My preferred carry piece is a 10mm. Is known for it's "brisk" recoil. ;-)
You have a bit more inertial stability than Anoreth or I.
Yeah.... That extra hundred pounds comes in handy some times...

Kathleen liked the gun store. Although it’s not the usual environment for pink babies, it had lots of colorful packaging and people who smiled at her.
