Good morning, Meg. Thanks.
It is already 67 here and is expected to get into the mid 80's.
Over the weekend, our temps were almost 100. That is too hot to early.
Wishing you a beautiful Monday.

It's been three and a half months of intensive physical therapy. Six times a day while hospitalized for a month, and three times a week, here in CA for the past two and a half months.
Prayers continue for you, dear FRiend!

Thank you for this, ... I love it!
How true!
“...
The Scriptures are like undiscovered country to many. They have never discovered the valuable treasures found in the eternal words of the Bible. The Bible is alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, exposing our innermost thoughts and desires (Heb. 4:12). It is like a lamp to illuminate our path (Ps. 119:105), and it has been given to equip us for Gods purposes (2 Tim. 3:16-17).”
___________________________________________________________
The scriptures are indeed, “undiscovered country”
and like any country it is possible to endlessly find new delights, Wisdom, insight, understanding, comfort, wonders, joy, hope, ...
we more we learn of God the more we find as yet not perceived deeper truths. It is amazing to me. There are layers upon layers and as each is noticed and contemplated, we become more awed and humbled before our LORD! There are many that dismiss reading the Bible as too hard to understand. Like any language we learn as we grow and see ahead and behind what was once unknown to us. It is a wonderful learning. Try it.
Thank Thee Father, for thy grace, goodness, mercy and especially for the treasure of thy Word, in Jesus name amen.

Last thing at night and first thing in the morning many of us utter prayers of thanks, and ...in between?
A heart prayer, straight from our heart to God, is how I think of it. I'm thankful for this moment and this moment and the next and the next. There are many voices calling for our attention, distractions and some of necessary demands ... yet, we can be calm and carry it all as if we had God by the hand. Or rather God has us by the hand. Either way He is with us awake or asleep. In good times and bad. He is with those that seek Him and believe in Him.

I posted this before I read your second post about being so sick. I’m so glad you are feeling better. I’m not here very much anymore as I just don’t do it when I’m not up to par. Wish I had as many good days as I do bad days. Bur I’m still a thankful gal to still be kicking! Thank you, Lord.
You know how we sometimes get an old song on our minds. The other day I was thinking about how many of us have been sick with one thing or the other, I took the old song “Wedding Bells are Breaking up That Old Gang of Mine” and substituted “Aches and Pains are Breaking up That Old Gang of Mine.” I guess I was trying to make Lemonade out of ‘my lemons’. Sometimes I get silly! If hubby were here, he would tell you how silly I could get at times. Guess its better to laugh than cry....LOL!

Chilly here as well - we've been in the low 40's here all day. I'm off work today - going to take a little nap. PT tonight.

I’m 100% better today, Jaycee.
It seems like one of the flus must hit us every two or three years.
You are still in my prayers.

Thats what they are. The only reason I knew I had it in
my files. Do you know I’ve never heard of them before you
and Amy both called their names. I could be wrong but I’ve
never seen them around here when I look for flowers, etc.
Do you think they may be popular in other parts of the
country and not in Tennessee? I’ve seen many flowers in
my life but have never seen those. There were not many
flowers that my Mom couldn’t call their names but I’ve
never heard her mention those.
I sure love them! And I’m glad that you all verified what
they are!! Learning new things is good for me.
