Thanks to everyone for the lovely graphics today. I am sorry
I couldn't be with you today....I needed a little catching up
time and some resting time. I'm sure you understand!
I had a little reaction to the I.V. yesterday and
had a hard time getting the attendant's attention. He was
in the next room of course, and I started saying
loudly...Hey....Hey....Hey and started knocking on the machine.
He finally heard me and came in and I told him I was about
to throw up! He let me set up until I got straightened
out. I didn't throw up but was sick as a dog. I've never
had a reaction before that one! Then he put me back in and finished up.
I don't think the men nurses (technicians) or
whatever they are, or as good as the female ones.
When I had the MRI, the girl gave me a little rubber thing
to hold and if I needed her all I had to do was squeeze
that little rubber thing, which I didn't have to do!
that picture brings a big smile and warm heart...thankyou and hope your on the mend soon....GG
Thank you, GG! Very sweet description. Animals put more loving smiles on our faces than anything else I can think of! I think of your sweet doggie a lot and hope she/he is doing well. (I forgot if its a she or he! Whats the name and I can remember (maybe)!! LOL!
Its a she and named Pepper...black lab of course. We made it through the winter a day at a time...she still wags her tail and I have overcompensated for her blindness...the last trip to the vet had her at 90 pounds..the time before that she weighted 78, which is good for her because she has back end problems and the extra weight is not good for her..the vet laughed and told me to give her snacks of green beans...she eats anything I eat so shes getting green beans for snacks and not french fries...as long as it is food, she doesn’t care...hopefully the next trip she has lost some pounds..... ,p.
Her pain medication can cause liver problems and the blood work up shows liver enzymes out of whack, so this next time in we will put her on another pain med...the vet says its more expensive but I don’t care...she is worth it...:O) GG

I bet her weight will go down with the snack of green beans instead of french fries. I was sitting here eating M and M’s and when you start on them, you can’t stop. When I was checking out of Walgreen’s today, I saw these M and M’s saying coconut M&M’s and I picked up a little package. I can’t tell any difference. They may have coconut in the chocolate but doesn’t taste a bit different...just delicious!
Glad your dog likes the green beans. Bless her heart. The Lord puts angels on earth to take care of dogs such as yours and you’re the angel for Pepper. I know Pepper thanks you with her love for the love you give her.
Thank you for the lovely roses, Conor! Hope your Wednesday was Warm & Fuzzy or at least comfortable!!
On Sunday, July 18, 2010, one of the busiest highways in Europe became what some called the longest table in the world. Officials closed a 60-kilometer (37-mile) section of the A40 Autobahn in Germanys Ruhr region so people could walk and bicycle or sit at one of 20,000 tables set up on the roadway. An estimated 2 million people came to enjoy an event the director hoped would connect people from many cultures, generations, and nations.
This event made me think of an even grander table around which believers gather to share the Lords Supper. During communion, we remember Jesus death for us as we anticipate the culmination of history at His return.
Just before Jesus was crucified, He shared the Passover meal with His disciples, telling them, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Fathers kingdom (Matt. 26:29).
The Lords Table unites everyone Christ has redeemed by His blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation (Rev. 5:9). One day, in a scene of reunion and joy, all who belong to Jesus will sit down together with Him at a table that will dwarf the Autobahn gathering. We joyfully anticipate sharing that table together!
Read: Matthew 26:26-30

Sorry that I’m running so late. Had a difficult time posting this morning.

Have a beautiful Easter Week and a Thankful Thursday.
Hi! Is anyone else getting a FReeRepublic Pop Up, with a speaker, asking to take a survey for FR?
I will not click on it, nor click any options, as it is one of those pop ups that won’t shut down, no matter what you click. Could it be a virus - or rather, is it something that FR is doing now?
(The last one was when I clicked a link on the Forum for “The Ten most High Maintenance Dogs”....)
I have to shut down my computer to get the link to close.
It is in your computer...not on FR, as I have not seen it on i.
I have a Mac, so it may be a PC kind of virus. I used to get those all the time on my PC. They are VERY HARD to get rid of! Maybe one of our resident geniuses here on FR can advise you.
