Thanks,Teenie.
Remembering that more than once, a group of us would climb in the back of a pickup or truck for a ride to the local store for a cold drink.
Happy Monday, Jaycee.
Not quite 12:00 noon here but I’m thinking of dinner. :)
MrJust and I will have a light lunch and will have dinner tonight. Marissa is in the last week of state testing so have been trying to prepare nourishing meals. She has been balking at large breakfasts. Ahhh .... almost teenagers. :)
And a load of us would do the same for the Drive-In movie. Just remembering the hayrides and street dances! What a great life it was.
Prayers for complete healing very soon! (And some weight gain!)
Happy Monday, Kitty.
Thank you for the beautiful flag on this Military Monday.
Wishing you an awesome day.
Thanks for posting the link to our WWII +70 Years thread, Amy. Maybe somebody that hasn’t seen it before will pay a visit. The next month is going to be a crucial period of the war and the reading will be correspondingly interesting.
Praying all goes well with your surgery.
We support the military ... past, present and future. I’m sure several will enjoy your WWII history threads.

Loved this, Meg!!
Hubby, me and the boys saw a Blue Angel performance
at the Tri-Cities Airport, not far from us! Loved it!
Mom used her old one to wash black walnut oil off after dad ran the outer husk off with the car in the gravel driveway...works.
I knew it the moment they said there was a glitch in the EKG, CT stress test came back worse than hubby’s, who eats all the bad stuff, while I eat healthy stuff.
So have to see a stinking cardiologist tomorrow, all because of a glitch in an EKG. And with my feet being the way they are, the drug stress test has to be done...and I am one of those who are SUPER hyper drug sensitive. Wanna bet a dime they will want me on drugs? Zetia the most side effect riddled one is the most common used one..and the one I will react to the fastest.
That is what the PCP did for the ostoporosis...Fosamax nearly 2,000 lawsuits over degenerative jaw disease and broken femurs...Already have a degenerative spine, don’t need any more health problems. Heart attack risk factor is 3.5 which is the middle for women my age.
Am throwing out all their damn drugs except my Synthroid that I have to have.
I didn’t know that walnut stain would ever come off. A squirrel brought in a walnut and hopped up on my outside table
on the patio and I had beige rubbery place mats and that
squirrel took that hull off on the place mat and there’s still some stain on it. I soaked it in hot soapy water and use a little brush on it and you can still see the stain a little. Sure was a mannerly squirrel, keeping his food on
the place mat....LOL!
I had one drug stress test one time and said I’d never have
another one! First of all, I kept telling the girl that
my arm was killing me where the medicine was going in and
she said it would stop in a minute. I then told her I didn’t
think the needle was in the vein and she sorta ignored me
and finally I emphatically told her there was something
wrong with the needle and sure enough, the arm started
swelling and the medicine was going under the skin. The
needle was not in the vein just as I had told her. And she
had to start all over....made me furious!
Good luck, Gail. I hope all goes well! You sure are
having lots of problems. Praying it lets up soon!
Please, Father, protect us from another 4 years with Obama at the helm.
We ask for your blessings and protection. In Jesus Name Amen
