When it comes to covers I look for added value. This is what the Stones did to Chuck Berry (and others), and when they couldn’t, they didn’t release the track.

I was listening to... Ann Murray’s Country Croonin’ album on Spotify the other night and was amazed by the originality of her interpretations of all those standards. Added value, baby!
