Update: I promised to let you guys know when we found out the results of son’s tests. Praise the Lord, I am able to report that he passed the tests with flying colors. No cancer. You can imagine how relieved I am. Losing one son to cancer is quite enough for me. Son has the weight of the world lifted today. He was thinking all those days about how could he possibly leave his babies. Every time he picked up the baby, he had tears in his eyes. He loves those babies more than anything. I want to thank all of you for your prayers. I know they worked and we all appreciate all of you for your concerns and prayers. God bless you.

I’m so sorry, Jaycee. Seems things are not working in my favor this week. :(
I’ve been trying to get some bookwork done but am having printer problems. I have some of the files on the old computer so am running back and forth. Maybe I’ll lose some weight. LOL
Hey .. I hope you know that you are and will continue to be in my prayers. How did the consultation go? When wll you have the surgery?
Big Hugs!

Praise The Lord for this wonderful news, Nan.
Your son’s tears reminds me of the tears I shed when each of our daughters were born.

Thank You, KM.
I got a jury summons in the mail today. I think I have a valid excuse for not serving this time. Have to notify them to get the summons postponed.

Acts Of Gratitude
March 9, 2012
Few people knew me better as a boy than Francis Allen, the pastor who led me to Jesus Christ. A fire-and-brimstone preacher in the pulpit, he was a near-perfect example of the gentleness of Gods love outside of it.
Early on, Francis recognized a tendency in me to try to buy approval by working harder than expected and doing more than people asked. These are good traits to give as gifts to others, he would tell me, but you should never use them to buy acceptance and love from peopleor from God.
To help me understand this, he told me to read Jesus promise in Matthew 11:30 that His yoke is easya statement that sometimes seems too simple to be true. Then, pointing to Micah 6:6-8, he said: Now read this and ask yourself if there are any gifts you can give God that He doesnt already have. The answer, of course, is no.
Then he went on to explain that God cannot be boughtthe gift of grace is free. Since this is true, what should be our response? To do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God (v.8). I learned that these were acts of gratitudenot of purchase.
Let Micah 6 be a reminder that grace is free and that faithful living is our grateful response.
Were saved by grace through faith alone,
Good works can have no part;
But God rewards each loving deed
Thats done with all our heart. D. De Haan
Good works are not the means of salvation but the result.

Didn’t get back on the thread last night. I was on my way to the car and my insurance man was up in the backyard. He walked back here and I really was in a hurry for my appointment so we will be in touch more today or Monday. Of course, he told me what I already knew....”that my building was demolished.” LOL! Have a great day!

Nan, what wonderful news! I cannot imagine what losing a son would be like. I have 2 sons and if anything happened to either of them, it would almost be the end of me.
I know you are rejoicing and Praising the Lord for these great results as we all here at Amy’s are rejoicing with you!
God bless you and your family today and every day! (((HUGS)))

Son was the same way Dave, when his daughters were born. He carries his tears close to the surface. He has a big heart.

Thank you jaycee, I hope everyone has a great day. I will be chasing the dynamo around the house all day. She is the fastest thing on knees. Today she is 1 year old. She is so close to walking. I was just thinking that I will have to have a leash for her when she starts walking. I can barely keep up with her as she crawls. She will have to be in athletics to burn off all that energy.

Its okay, Amy. I think I was so frustrated yesterday. I am so tired of going for tests and doctors that I'm exhausted. This new doctor and surgeon had my x-rays and bone scan and saw the fracture but still wants me to have an MRI and he made the appt. for the 15th and back to him on the 21st. It looks like the extensive x-rays I had and the complete bone scan would have been sufficient but evidently not. I know one thing....maybe doctors don't realize when a person has so much pain, they're not up to so many tests.
I'm behind in my bookwork and must write my checks today and get another worry off my mind. Its not that its so hard....its just time-consuming and sitting still so long is not good for my back. Life must go on as they say! I must say "I'm grateful that I can do all these things though."

I think we all shed a few tears of joy when our babies
are born as we just witnessed another of God's miracles!
And for thanksgiving that they are born so perfect!

"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.
