Sorry I haven't been with you much lately but I've just had
too much pain. Its been awful. I will have my consultation
visit with the surgeon today so I'll be missing

I hate wind .... our weather is so-so. No rain .. days pleasant (except for Tuesday) ... nights cold.

I hope we get some rain; it will get to the point soon that any rain can damage the tree fruit.

Hi Amy.

Haven’t been spending much time on-line. Just browsing headlines and reading Our Daily Bread each day.

Been reading a couple of books this week.

Surgery is scheduled on the 14th. Have to go up to Sac tomorrow for some pre-op tests. I’m taking my laptop and i-phone with me to the hospital so I can stay in touch. I’m going to be there a few days.

I don’t do facebook, but our daughters created a page for me and they enter info about my medical journey. I think it’s called Dave’s Diving Locker or something like that.

Really appreciate the thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, Amy. I know 'real' life comes before anything else.

I know we need rain but it should have been here and gone as the damage total to fruit trees can be a real disaster. Growers are in a world of hurt already...don't need any more piled on!

I’ll check that out tomorrow. There’s quite a few of us from Amy’s on Facebook. I’m not an every day user....its more like 2-3 times a week. Just don’t have time and I just check up on my kids, grand kids, nieces, nephews, etc. Its nice getting to see all their pictures, etc. Thats what I like best!

My best wishes and many prayers for your upcoming surgery, Dave. I know you’ll come through with flying colors!!

Thanks, Jaycee! Work went pretty well today, although we were snowed under with high priority jobs. Got pulled off what I was doing twice for a more expedient assignment. Still, it's good to know we're needed - doesn't look like we'll be shown the door anytime soon.

I hope things are going well with you - have you been able to take care of that damage from the storm?
