Donald Trump produced a Youtube video from his office indicating that Santorum is over his head running for President after losing his 2006 Pennsylvania Senate Race by 19 points. The Donald has endorsed Romney and he probably finds Newt Gingrich acceptable. However, if Santorum gets the GOP nod, Trump may be signaling to us that he finds Santorum unacceptable and may run on a third party ticket. What do you think?
I am just astounded that any conservative pays attention to anything the attention addict Trump has to say. Even after his birth certificate stunt on Obummer’s behalf, some people are still under the impression that Trump cares about conservative causes. I just don’t get it.
It's pretty hilarious that as soon as Trump endorses SnippyMcMittCare he gets blown out of the water in a 3 state race where he had won those states in 2008.

Correct. And this was 2006, when dozens of GOP'ers went down - including CT's entire delegation of 4, because of stupid actions by both Bush and the corrupt House leadership.
With Newt, you get results including balanced budgets and welfare reform. With Santorum, you get slogans and apologies for Spector, Anti right to work, and pork.

Let’s see....Lincoln lost the 1858 Senate race...Nixon lost CA Gov in 1962, retired from politics, then came back in 1968 to win the presidency.
There may be others...those ones come to mind though.
The standards for "unqualified to run for President" have been lowered so far that no one seems to fall short - certainly not Santorum, who is actually a natural born citizen of the United States who is at least 35 years of age and has resided in the United States for at least 14 years.
Donald Trump isn’t going to do anything except bloviate. He won’t run third party because he will lose, he will be one of the most reviled men in America to millions of conservatives and others who don’t want to see Obama squeak to another term. He also is not willing to give up his opulent lifestyle to fool with it.
But Trump could run third party because he works for the Democrats.
