That breed (Russian Blue, iirc) has amazing plush coats. The same one was on my “I did haz cheezburger - where it went?” picture, which disappeared from teh interwebs, leaving a red X on my profile.

I brought Jake down from the closet to remind him where the food and sandbox are. The food was a hit! He’s very upset about his outdoor adventure.

For two days, now, I’ve been shifting things around and trying to make more room in here. (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)
The entertainment center is *sob* on the patio, awaiting pickup; about 150 VHS tapes have been consigned to the community room for grabbing. (Why have I been packing them around all these years????)
I was just trying to make the “bed” and got so out of breath that I figured it must be time to take a FR break. (My back is killing me!)

Bed is made. I will soon be on it. I missed a twin bed by 30 minutes today, which would have gotten me off the floor, but that’s OK. With my luck, it would have sagged in the middle so I would be jack-knifed in my sleep. ;o]

Another resident passed away yesterday, and the rumor is that he shot himself. His door is sealed by Henderson PD, so I’m thinking the rumor may be true; I can see his apartment from here, and I think I heard a gunshot a few days/nights ago, but blew it off because I heard no sirens. (It happens when you live in the city so long...)
There have been six deaths in here in the last three months, and I hate to think the day will come when I, too, will die in public housing! ARRRRGGGGHHHH!

I just bought my own house!
Closing was yesterday, and now I am a homeowner again! No more rent, no more sponging off others, I own my own place at last!

I was astounded to see how reasonably priced housing in Florida has become.
My credit score, which the realtors provided, is in the toilet. What helped was, I paid cash. Yes, it was that low priced.
