Mafia ? (Il zotto di pazzo)

Posted on 02/01/2012 3:44:24 PM PST by chrismac

It might be connected with the strange goings on around here : Our car stolen, with $4000 of damage; Our neighbour's healthy rabbit dying unexpectedly; Our neighbour's letterbox being destroyed; Curious spam emails about las vegas; The odd curious phone call; Faeces being smeared on our church Car windows smashed and things taken at church - they now have patrols as a result Breakin at church and organ damaged. Mysterious deaths of stars, such as Heath Ledger, Brittany and her husband, Michael Jackson, David Carradine, and others : http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2010/05/24/what-killed-brittanys- husband.html http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/31103217/ns/today-entertainment/t/david- carradine-found-dead-thailand-hotel/

Connect the dots if you dare, to see the truth.

We’ve had a similar problem. Maybe they size by international averages, or even by the size of kids in China or Guatemala, since that’s where they’re making the clothes.

It sounds like Grace is flourishing! Give the Mom my Raucous Round of Applause (and a Guinness, if she likes).

Would that be something on the order of “I must be all things to all men, that by all means I might win some.” (1 Cor 9:22)

Yes, that was it. I was only partly listening, I fear, because I was admiring the distinguished Colombian lector. Our Carismaticos are always well-dressed, and I do like a man in a suit and tie ...

We've come to the same conclusion re: sizing. It'd be nice if the Czech's start taking back the textile industry... ;-)

Zon is partial to brandy. Christian Brothers XO. :-)

Small amounts of brandy, so she doesn’t fall over on her nose while trying to keep the Ravenous Maw happy ...

The Czechs could use some industry. I’d buy their clothes to thank them for Vaclav Havel and Vaclav Klaus, those great men.

Thank you. We think she’s a very fine baby, even with an occasional spew.

Yep. Although, humor value there... ;-)

Let’s not forget Antonin Dvorak and Eva Herzigová. Great music and a bit o’ something to want to compose music about... ;-)

Pastry, too, so you can drink and not fall down.

I’m sure you’re familiar with “West, Texas,” on the interstate about halfway between San Antonio and Dallas. The bakeries there filled us with fat and sugar for many long drives.

That’s pretty normal. :) I missed the birth somehow. How much does she weigh?

That’s a good, healthy birth weight. Only 3 weeks. How are you feeling?

It was 9 days before her due date. The doctor was surprised she was so big ... but James (with the same birthday ;-) was 9 pounds at 2-1/2 weeks before he was due.

I’m feeling so much better than the last two months of pregnancy! More energy, no pain to speak of, getting more sleep ...

I missed two Cub Scouts meetings, but no Sunday School classes, because they had a break in the schedule.

"Howdy..................."

Howdy...................do, Ma'am. We're getting some frozen precipitation, but it isn't what I would call "snow".

If we were getting "snow", I'd be inventorying the snow shovels.

Yet won’t go out and buy any of those products.

I buy doritos sometimes, but their ads don't make me do it. They just make really good fires starters.

It’s always best to know where they are before they get covered up.

They just make really good fires starters. Really? I think you may be joking, but since I live in the woods I gotta ask.

It was really nice of you to take the time and effort to create such a wonderful post to me HKMk23.

Your wishing about dreams touches on that True Reality.

I talked about dreams, but in truth, I was seeing/describing my home, as a spirit. I believe that is my natural state.

I seem to be having trouble applying what I know in my heart to my corporal life, and it frustrates me. So, what truth about Jesus’ ballpark am I missing? Help me out here. :-)

...to enter into a super-massively lopsided relationship in which you pony up your mere mortal existence in return for a forever long discovery of....

I think I am in a relationship with my Spirit, who has a relationship with God/Creation/Life. That is what I see as the Trinity. Unfortunately, I don't take it seriously enough, and some days I think my Spirit is disappointed with me.

Many times, I wish I was home, but I can't go home until I have done what I came to do.

I have to ask....
Why do people cry when loved ones die? Shouldn't they feel happy for them that God took them home? As in "well done, rest now'?

Thanks again for your post to me. I feel the love you want to share. Go ahead and be as evangelistic as you want to be.

It won't kill me. ;-)

Why do people cry when loved ones die?

You cry because the person is no longer a part of your daily life, just as you might cry because a friend has moved away, even if she's going to marry a really nice man and live in a great place. The present loss *to you* is still real, even if you are absolutely certain it's the best thing for the person who has left you.

There can be other reasons, as well. I cried when President Reagan died, not because it was bad for him, poor dear, or because we'd been really close friends, but because he represented something that I felt was disappearing. Or you can cry because of sympathy with people who are bereaved, as I do when I attend the funerals of elderly church members. I'm sad because their family members are sad.

Tom has gained another 13 since the last time we checked: he needs to lose nearly 50, or the BSA won’t let him go to the Seabase camp this summer.

Which program are they doing? Are they going to be at the original Islamorada location, or the newer Summerland Key? (Please tell me they're not doing Big Munson Island; he doesn't want to lose the weight if they're doing Big Munson.)
