Thank you, Mayor for 'the daily bread' today. It is a blessing.

Time spent together is the best way to teach children: so welcome their company, with awareness that what we do and say (even to the news man on television or watching a football team), they will copy as well. It is the old adage, ... they will do what we do, no matter what we say.

Rebellion is normal, and a wise parent keeps the channels open and rules in place, with love. The world is teaching rock and roll, sex and drugs, greed, and dishonesty in many forms. It leads to disaster in ones life. Countering this constant message requires the children do know about God and his love before all these other lies of Satan comes into their life. Before there was anything ... there was God. He loves us and cares for us. It is a constant vigilante battle in life to not be drawn into self indulgence and instant gratification. All behavior has consequences. An important teaching for all of us .

God help us protect and teach our children, truth, and love, and good choices, and kindness, and forgiveness. The spirit of God is present with us always. We love thee LORD. Thank thee, LORD for hearing our prayer of faith, In Jesus name amen.
