In Desperate Need of Prayer

I'm asking all Christian Freepers for prayer for me and my family. All of my children are adopted and one child has Reactive Attachement disorder. We are having a horrible time with this child and things are very desperate. Also, I'm very discouraged and very far away from God at this time. Please pray that God will restore me to himself and that he will provide assistance with our daughter.

I am sorry you are going through such a hard time now. May God be with you and give you strength. May He be with your daughter and give her healing. May He help you find the practical assistance and therapy you need.

You are doing God’s work and that means you are close to God now even if you cannot feel Him. Sometimes He takes His children on this path.

I hope you have a support group of other adoptive parents who have dealt with RAD, even an online group. They will understand the way no one can who has not lived through this.

Thank you for asking for prayer in these needs! In order to pray effectively, I had to find out what "Reactive Attachment Disorder" is, so I looked it up. Now I see that of my 19 grandchildren some may be afflicted with this _feeling_ problem to a degree, otherwise I would have no idea of what it is and how both children and grown-ups act when this troubles them deeply. So, you see, God is already using you in this! Now I know how to pray for you and _all_ your children!
