This is nice by Jessica, but she gives away the fact she is using a vibrato to cover the fact she can’t hold notes that long (a problem for almost all modern singers).

I agree. Beautifully sung, but really boring arrangement.
I must suppose that this was some kind of thing to make Jessica sound good but it was too much voice theatrics.
It wasn’t bad but again, Jessica is not the entertainer Skylar is and Hollie’s voice is as good.
Those judges going nuts over a kind of mediocre kind of performance.

Holly’s voice is better IMHO.
P2 is gone — next week will be a tougher decision since the judges are in the tank for Jessica (who I used to like but am thinking needs 2 or 3 more years of hard work) and Skylar might be outside some people’s comfort zone.
If Holly keeps singing like she has tonight there is no reason she can’t run the table. But America is quirky — we all know that the best singer (or even entertainer) has rarely won Idol.
