I guess, from what I am hearing now...Colton has taken on the “Balls in a vice” sound, since DeAndre is gone.....
I have to say...as each week goes by...I am liking Colton less and less as a “performer”
This guy is boreing, at least we got to see some waving.
I LOVED Colton just then.
I didn’t like that so much either. I liked the “feel”... but not so much the “signature” way...
never liked his style.
I think what could make this week really boring is a set list consisting of the last 2 1/4 years. Eggh.
Peggy, you and I have the same taste in music. I loved the way Colton sang that! Excellent show so far!
I really liked it. But then, I like this kid.
He's at the piano again, singing “Love The Way You Lie” by Skylar Grey. Moody and squeaky. But it's technically good. The Ferlies will eat this up.
Like the performance, but I don't like the song.
J-Lo: You always surprise me with your approach to the notes. You do it your way. Make it your own. Alwasy very "Colton" when you do it. Wish it had been more of a song, but I loved it.
Steven: You are a such a rare talent. You could have recorded that right now. Colton still hasn't found his top yet. You know how to sing these songs, but wait until you hit your own.
Randy: Love this subtle performance that you gave. Showed the sensitivity. Started it like a lullaby almost. You pour yourself into these songs. We got two for two right now. Very hot!
Me three! I loved his tone. Good show so far!

If deandre had done the song the whole thing would have been falsetto. It was good... but I liked the “vibe” better than I did the falsetto. Just personal preference.
