She's first with Kellie Pickler's “Didn’t Know How Much I Loved You”. It sounds like the song was made just for her. Great!
She's playing an acoustic guitar that no one can hear, but it doesn't matter, lol.
Randy: You are definitely back. This is so in your wheelhouse. You could have a hit with something like that. Crazy hot and crazy good. "Pitch"-er perfect with the pitch.
J-Lo: You really nailed it. You were beautiful up there. Perfect way to start the show.
Steven: Skylar when you sing a song it's a complete sentence. The crows may crow but the hens deliver the goods. I love the way you sing, girl. Just great.
Skylar: I've never been first! First and last-- they always expect a lot out of you.

American Idol is won a lot by country artists lately. Pop is to crazy (Lady Gaga etc). I think this show will never give birth to that type of artist. The show is a better fit for country.
