(VANITY)
Word has it that Mr. Herman Cain, a strong conservative presidential candidate incessantly attacked by the national media, the DNC and the RINO Establishment slime machine, is in a position now to endorse in pivotal South Carolina prior to its presidential primary.
The problem is, some indications are coming out that such an endorsement, while "unconventional" may be going to Mitt Romney, the worst possible choice for the Republicans in 2012 and certainly no conservative, easily beatable by Barack Obama in November. Sucn an endorsement would be highly inadvisable. Many of us, former 2012 Cain supporters, volunteers and donors say this in unison and with passion.
I don’t believe Perry likes or will endorse Romney (unless that’s who ends up nominated), but think Santorum will. However, BOTH are drawing votes away from Newt by staying in - particularly Perry.
OH its Perrys fault! LOL
I sent Herman Cain the money I usually sent to Newt each week when he was having all his trouble... what bothers me, not only that he quit, but that he could have followed up on those women, leveled charges like he once threatened to with his highpriced lawyer. He gave no reasons, no explanation, no apology, just left because that’s what Mrs Cain wanted.
Because he didn’t want to put his family through hell... well there are a whole lot of American soldiers who put their families through hell, year after year, to serve their country... He could have been a statesman, gone away quietly, and helped one of the remaining candidates... after all, the people who gave to him did so with the presidency in mind.. what’s at stake this election. Now he’s going to be a big distraction... I am really disappointed in him.
Believe me, I did not say “source” anywhere above, however I did say a cross section of comments, activities, etc., past endorsments and the like, gave some not unreasonable indication this may be where he is headed—as laid out in detail in my post #8, what with the GOP Establishment in Full Bandwagon Mode for Mitt Romney nowadays. I am getting a bad feeling here. So, my post is merely and clearly “pre-emptive” in nature, pre facto. It is to help create a negative impetus for him ever to do such a thing based from feedback from his grassroots base. And it is important that on his website, facebook and what not, Mr. Cain hear this in unison from Cain supporter after Cain supporter, as I have also weighed in, that for no reason is he advised wisely to support Willard Romney — though the pressure on him will from the GOP Establishment be immense.
Most of the Perry supporters I know have NO interest in Newt and even less in Santorum. They will most likely sit out.
I would reluctantly support Gingrich and I mean Reluctantly!
Perry and Gingrich are worlds apart
As others may eventually hold their noses and keep an air sick bag available may do as well. Currently, most will not admit to be reduced to that. As you said, Newt and Perry have little in common conservative-wise.
Well, McCain was such a stunning success.
McRomney should be just a continuation of such wise nominee choices.
Be sure to give Conservatives the choice of a Dem or a RINO.
Really excites the Base thus, motivating them to get out and vote, despite whatever re-run is on TV that night.

That’s just flat-out unfair (as are many of the other comments on this thread). It’s pretty obvious you don’t like Cain and also that you haven’t heard him on Hannity or elsewhere lately. He said he wasn’t going to endorse ANY individual but rather an idea/movement. He’s still dedicating his efforts toward BHO’s defeat. Herman was forced out and if there’d been truth to these allegations which magically vanished, believe me, the media would certainly have twisted the dagger by reporting it in detail.
Pretty vicious, aren’t they?
If Herman Xain endoses Willie Mitty then hes not the conservative I thought he was...
If he does he can kiss off another run at any office in George as a conservative....
I dont think that his political future is over and I hope its not..
but this would do it
” The past 12 to 15 times I have seen him on TV, he is about self-promoting and little else.”
Well...there you go. That’s the truth.

Never trust an ex-Fed guy...
“At his own political risk”? He has absolutely NO future in politics. What’s the risk here?
Hannity was fishing for a clue and when he suggested an idea Cain said to him he was getting warm..so wonder what this is all about?
Each one in our own way needs to communicate this to Herman Cain’s post-campaign organization in Atlanta, about Romney. Loud and clear. And believe me, THIS WOULD BE THE WEEK TO DO IT. Just to reinforce things. Trust but verify. He may well have stated that he will not endorse someone specifically, but he could always change his mind. Remember, the day he pulled out of the race, he gave every indication he was staying in, such as speeches by those preceding him toned that he was staying in, opening a “campaign headquarters”, selling Cain 2012 bumper stickers and T shirts. And then, wham!, those of us as his supporters had the wind knocked out of us as he mentioned he was suspending and moving to “Plan B.” We could be surprised on a pre-South Carolina or Florida endorsement stil yet, and mightily so, with a sudden Romney endorsement this week, or next, and I for one am just trying to head that little one possibility off at the pass, so to speak. It think it is prudent to do so. We must work incessantly in our own ways in in our own current or former camps, to deny Romney as much traction as possible out of South Carolina and Florida.
