I’m NOT talking about my own brood. If they acted that way, I would skin ‘em alive.
Nope, the youngest’s fiance had his groomsmen at our house. The single men were rude, crude and socially unacceptable. The wedding is over. They are gone. They are destined for singleness forever.
I’m in CONUS but hoping to leave ASAP.

I am wondering if they became pests because of being jerks or if they were liberals, which is totally self explanatory.

They are just jerks. Ironically, my ultra-liberal family behaved much, much better than these boys. In fact, in my family, we had non-rancurous political discussions.

Good morning ATRW! Good to see you again in this new year. I trust you all had a wonderful holiday.
Thigs are just fine here. Not much snow, but much less shoveling.

Happy New Year everyone. I was happy to see the thread back up today. We have been very busy, so haven't checked in in awhile. December has turned out to be the wettest month we have had in 18 months!! Praise the Lord. Last year was the worst drought since 1880’s. We ended up selling our calves early and around 100 cows. I pray thing will continue to look up for us as we will start calving season in about 3 weeks. Cows are still holding their own, so here we go into another year!! We all have our health, and our faith so looking forward to 2012!! Good to see everyone’s posts. Denco

Good Morning NY!! It’s Blustery out there this morning, but I shan’t complain,, it’s been a lovely fall, after a really crumby summer. When actual winter doesn’t begin until after the first of the year, we hope for it to be short.

Great to “see” you johnny! Have a Blessed New Year, and I can’t imagine anyone complaining if you helped yourself to a Ferel Hog. Most people are grateful for someone reducing the numbers.

There you are! I was wondering how the year worked out. I remember early on you were having to haul water and then, I saw, the drought just continued and continued and continued. My heart broke for you. I’ll pray that 2012 will be much better and that calving will go smoothly with a minimum of trouble. GBU!

You got that right!
I see Andrea Mitchell stepped in it yesterday when she described the upcoming Iowa Caucus as not really representative of America. In her words Iowa is, "Too white and too rural."
Sure Andrea....

The single men were rude, crude and socially unacceptable.Ohhh, yikes. More evidence that many people aren't teaching their kids how to behave.

Hello NY, Happy New Year!

Praise God for the moisture, I know what it’s been like in many areas. We had a party yesterday, had wanted to be out on the back patio, but the Lord decided we needed more rain and I certainly defer to His holy wisdom. We moved inside, everybody still had a good time.
Good luck with your calves.
To: prairiebreeze
Absolutely. These boys had no idea how to behave.
Well, it won’t happen again.

Might be that your ultra-liberal family, and please forgive my pessimism, have nothing to fear that their dictator will be re-elected in November.

We didn’t discuss that, but it was clear from their speech that they are not at all pleased with him.
