Good one, Luv.
Dogs are so cute! We can do anything to them and they’ll let us.

I love pansies!
This is how mine looked
when the snow finally melted off of them.

GOOD MILITARY MONDAY TO AMYS PLACE!
The Soldiers Code
1) I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.
2) I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender my men while they still have the means to resist.
3) If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
4) If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me, and will back them up in every way.
5) When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am bound to give only name, rank, service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies, or harmful to their cause.
6) I will never forget that I am an American fighting man, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower, August, 1955.

Luv, I finally sold my treadmill when we had our garage sale in September! It was quite nice but that hip kept me from using it! Too bad....exercise is good.

Hi, Jaycee! Great to see you this evening! Working on a new graphic:
THEIR FINEST HOUR
Sir Winston S. Churchill, KG, OM, CH, TD, PC, DL, FRS, Hon. RA (30 November 1874 24 January 1965
....However matters may go in France or with the French Government or with another French Government, we in this island and in the British Empire will never lose our sense of comradeship with the French people. If we are now called upon to endure what they have suffered we shall emulate their courage, and if final victory rewards our toils they shall share the gains, aye. And freedom shall be restored to all. We abate nothing of our just demandsCzechs, Poles, Norwegians, Dutch, Belgians, all who have joined their causes to our own shall be restored.
What General Weygand has called the Battle of France is over. I expect that the Battle of Britain is about to begin. Upon this battle depends the survival of Christian civilization. Upon it depends our own British life, and the long continuity of our institutions and our Empire. The whole fury and might of the enemy must very soon be turned on us. Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be freed and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands.
But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new dark age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science. Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves, that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, This was their finest hour.
Supermarine Spitfire, the Iconic Fighter of the Battle of Britain

Yes, I do move around as much as possible. I have to do my work, even though I do it in segments. I overdid it during the holidays but all is well now.

Great graphic.
Wonderful speech by a giant of a man. We need people like that today.
Hope you’re feeling better today!

I think we ALL overdid it over the holidays. We were so busy
at work, it was hard to find a time to even breathe! But it’s
better now. Thank goodness!

Was feeling better until about an hour ago. Stepped outside the van at the gas station to fill my tank and lost my balance. Fell flat on my face and banged the bad knee. Appears no damage was done - I see the orthopedist tomorrow morning for a routine follow-up. Still, ended up with a knot on my forehead and a bloody nose. A heck of a way to start off the new year. :)
