For the past year I have experienced increasing lower back pain. The doctors traced the pain to a pinched nerve between the L4/L4 vertebrae and ultimately to two ruptured disks. So far I have made it without narcotics.
Tomorrow I will have surgery to correct the ruptured disks. The good news is that the surgeon thinks he can fix the problem and not just ease the pain. The bad news is that he says the recovery period is a full twelve weeks. The first two weeks I will mostly be in bed lying flat. Other than that, I must wear a back brace. No travel at all for the first two or three weeks even if I am riding in a car and not driving.
If you would be so kind, I ask your prayers for a successful surgery and relief from the back pain.
Prayers UP my FRiend ~!

Prayers are up my friend.
A long time friend flew to Germany for some severe neck/spine surgery this past summer.
The surgery was a success, and his family enforced the time off required for recovery.
He is now pain free for the first time in years and can sleep a whole night without getting up.
We again see the smile he used to be famous before he was rear ended by a bad driver.
Listen to your doctor. My wife had a severe surgery in August and tried to go back to work too early and put herself in tailspin with just a half day at her office.
Now, even at close to 6 months postop, she still has to rest a couple of times during the day and graze with food instead of 3 meals a day.
Joining in with prayers up for an uneventful surgery and a swift and complete recovery.
Thank you for the heads up here. ((HUGS))
Prayers up!
