I am green with broccoli envy. We’re eating frozen from Sam’s, as my entire spring/early summer cole crop failed. Do you have enough to freeze for the winter?

Years ago my Golden Retriever puppy watched my husband take our aging, epileptic Schnauzer to the vet to be put down. When my husband came home and handed me the collar and tags, she let out a moan and a whimper, lay down, and pouted for several days.
There was tug toy that those 2 dogs played with together. My GR never played with that toy again!

There is absolutely no doubt that dogs grieve ... I've seen it 3 times now. I almost always have 3 or 4 dogs, so they are able to console each other too, which is good. One of ours grieved for almost a year before he cheered-up. It is the caring and thoughtful pack leader that recognizes the grief and responds accordingly.
Red, I pray that many animals are cured and live through Aladdin. I declare it to be so.

If I could remember how to post pictures....OTOH all my pictures are now on my I phone Can post to facebook but don’t know how to relay to FR.
The current eight panals lie flat on the crib/garage. There is room for six more...Maybe with the tax rebate for this year.
A really not to “outstandin” as they lay flat and blend into the black metal roof. We did not need any extra backup equiptment as all connector and convertors lie under each individual panal and they each can be disconnected or connected to additional panels.
Had to wait a few extra weeks until the newer versions were available, but it was worth it.

At the rate we are eating it, there won’t be any left to freeze. I feel a lot will be eaten for Christmas dinner and sent with daughter. This is a gal who hated green veggies when she was younger.

Wow ... blooming??? I was riding down the road on my 4-wheeler yesterday, and one of my friends has a large group of azaleas under an oak tree in her yard and they are covered in beautiful pink blooms. Guess the trees have kept the frost away, but I wonder how they survived the temps in the 20's.

You'll have to upload the photos from your phone to Photobucket or a similar hosting service, and then get the html to post them here. I'd be really interested in seeing your arrangement.
As a side note ... aren't those smartphones the greatest thing? I freep and Facebook and eBay from my deer stand when I'm bored. Never would have imagined!

Aladdin is the second dog I have donated to the MSU Vet school for research we also donated one to the LSU Vet school when we lived in Lafayette, La. I feel like you, maybe the future care takers of our animal family members will learn something useful. Cashmere was allowed to curl up on the foot of our bed last night - that was the first time she wanted to sleep with us in years. She has always napped on the bed during the day - she just needed a little extra comfort. Having her around and needing my care is helpful.

Yes, blooming Chinese cabbage. It’s growing in a pot with no protection or special shelter.

Love the phone. My son travel to Europe four times this year on tour with the band he is in. Last trip they posted footage of themselves playing in Paris. My ninety two year old dad and I were able to watch shortly after the performance.
Dad broke into tears: “In my lifetime” He really didn't know what Steve Jobs accomplishments were until that moment.
He now his new hero.

I’ve been intrigued by that system for some time...may give it a try for 2013 season...if the country is still here, of course.

LOL..I always plan to write the date of putting in the seed on the identification tab, then forget, so it’s always a surprise when the sprouts pop up.

Yes he was special. My wife was always amazed at how soundly he slept and the contented sounds he emitted, kinda like when a person would express pleasure when getting a good massage.

I thought of Aladdin this afternoon when our English Pointer, Dolly started moaning because a siren was wailing off in the distance. You have our condolences Red...
