Many have truly lost interest in the Republican primary and its "candidates." None appear fully acceptable, all have major faults and excess baggage that could easily cause them to lose to an absolutely unre-electable sitting president.
While polls are often flawed and many are absolutely biased, I have seen a consistent trend that any particular GOP candidate VS Obama consistently loses, given a choice between "Any Republican" and Obama, the Republican wins handily. What this means is that the majority of voters, about 75% in the GOP in fact, are totally unhappy with the choices offered.
It is my considered opinion that an overwhelming majority of both Republican rank-and-file, and independent voters alike, are seeking someone to challenge Obama....other than the candidates offered.
Who does this leave?
As I recall, some four months ago, about the time of her triumphant tours and speeches, Sarah Palin stated that she "would run the most unconventional campaign ever." To this point, if she reverses course and comes in late to the fray, that would be the "most unconventional" move ever!
These endless and largely meaningless drivel-driven so called debates have done little more than pissed off many conservatives. By opting out in October, Sarah was insulated from this nonsense, and actually strengthened her desirability.
If, and this is a big IF, she decided to reenter any time before the Iowa caucus, she would likely show amazing support.
On the other hand, waiting to come in after the January mayhem, when deep divisions have made a clear frontrunner's unlikely, who better to fill the void?
Or even, with no leader in delegate count going into the convention, and with the prospect of internal war within the party, who better to be selected to heal the divisions and lead the GOP to victory?
Lets face it folks, we could well see the most unconventional campaign for nomination in the history of our nation!
But then, there is also another option........

Well, what's stopping you?
No, I am not voting for Obama. If I was voting for Obama, I'd have to mark it on the ballot. I'm not doing that.
I'll play ball with the GOP establishment elites when they stop sabotaging nominated candidates they don't like... such as Miller,O'Donnell and Angle.
She´s made her dough. No go.
Nope. I live in reality. Have fun waiting for Sarah...
I would vote for her in a heartbeat, and felt a great sense of loss when she declined the chance to run.
Maybe I understand her reasons, but it hurt. I also understand the challenges she would face if she did run. She HAS been slandered mercilessly and many voters have made up their minds about her.
Still, this country is in dire straights, and we need those capable of leading us properly to be prepared to make the sacrifice. Even if it feels like jumping on a hand grenade lol.
No one is asking to “play ball”... but if you were any type of conservative you'd help get rid of the most liberal president we ever had; unless of course your happy with the results of 2008 - when alot of conservatives wanted to “punish” the GOP establishment.
Trying to controlling others into ‘your reality’ is liberalism and rinoism. You are part of the problem - that’s reality.
The prayers might be better directed to any candidate that God should select and raise up, even if it might never be Palin!
You can't just walk onto the floor of the House as a minority and control it.
Sarah Palin NOT RUNNING is inconceivable..

You’re clearly out of touch. She has said she will not run. Who am I controlling?
She is not running. Reality. Deal with it.
Those of us who were actively working for her nomination, still would do so. Those violently opposed, the PDS folks, still are. Meanwhile, much has changed, so that the LEAST favorable, the Mittster, holds steady, and those who are far more conservative are mowed down by the left, one after another. I could live with Newt as POTUS, and if nominated, would likely do a credible job. But now, the rising star seems to be the worst possible in so many ways...wRonG Paul. Ouch.
As for those still in the arena, my waning hopes are that the GOP will stop the attacks on the best and brightest remaining, and that one of four will emerge on top....Santorum, Perry, Bachman or Gingrich.
Relying on past presidential elections as a guide are futile. Obumble is hoping tor a 1948 result, and the GOP establishment is hoping for a 1980, with the worst possible head-of-ticket, Myth wRongley.
It may turn out to be a modified 1912. The sitting president ended up in third place, in this case deservedly. 1912 ushered in the dawn of the progressive liberal Democrats. With O coming in third, the GOP second and the Bullmoose party candidate winning a narrow victory, this would be the death knell of both the GOP establishment AND the proglibs on their 100th anniversary of ascendancy.
OK, I can dream, can't I?
If you followed your tagline, you’d still have credibility.
The Fix is in—It Will Be Mittens. Sarah knew this so she pulled out. Better warm up to Mitt because its Mitten or Obamy.
I’m really not concerned with what those who were fooled for months by palin and continue to remain fooled think of my credibility...your powers of discernment have been tested and shown to be non-existant.
