NY Woman Uses Dating Site to Get Over $1200 In Free Meals

A New York woman is being scrutinized and praised after people learned that she used a dating website to obtain $1,200 a month in free meals.

According to Business Insider, 23-year-old Jessica Sporty was deep in debt. Sporty had difficulties living on her $45,000 annual salary after spending nearly $1,500 a month in rent, paying her credit card bill, and buying food.

So she hatched up a plan and signed up with the popular online dating site Match.com so she could quickly go on five dates a week. Sporty even maintained a spreadsheet with detailed information on each of her dates, limiting each guy to a maximum of five.

Dates took Sporty to high-end New York restaurants, and one of her dates even bought her a $200 bottle of champagne.

“Before I barely had enough money to pay for food,” said Sporty. “After using Match.com I found I wasn’t going into debt anymore.”

-snip-

As of today, Sporty is no longer on the dating website as she is currently in a relationship and most likely freeloading off her new beau.

“It was exhausting,” she said. “I needed my sleep and I was done playing the game.”

I thought I would freeze on my way to the post orifice. The wind cut right through my jacket. The wind chill must have been in the low 30’s.

However, it was well worth the trip! The Christmas Bunneh was good to me, and I managed to buy some Restorative as well as some bubbly for Christmas, and will pay a bill when I get done here.

Of course, there is now a migraine working the right side of my head, so how long I will be here is anyone’s guess.

Excellent, about the bunneh, and bummer, about the migraine. I got my hair cut earlier, and now I need to find my bilingual missal, which I swear I just had a minute ago, to look at a possible new song.

I’m very, very sorry that you have migraines. I have struggled with them for over ten years. They have robbed me of so much time with family and friends and caused a lot of grief in my career. I hope you do not have them often.

Let’s see, Patrick is number six? He’s adorable. (Well, they all are.)

TEN?! When is number ten due? Have you picked out a name?

Yes, Pat is number 6. Have you ever seen “Big Bang Theory”? Pat is Sheldon.

The new one is expect in 3 to 4 weeks. We have picked out a name, but we’re not saying yet, because my husband has been known to change his mind after the baby’s born!

Thanks. I’ve had migraines since I was eight, and my son began to get them at nine. He doesn’t have them often, but they are devastating when he does.

I don’t know if I have one headache that lasts ten days, or ten headaches of a day each. I try to function with them, but some days, I just have to dig a hole and pull it in after me. The good thing is that I live alone so no one else is subjected to the ugliness.

As long as I can see, I can function on a limited basis. When it affects my vision, I go hide where it is dark. No meds work.

FYI: My Christmas present from “someone special” is a software program called “Nuance Dragon.”

I figured one of the problems with actually making my fingers do the walking is that some days, they are too stiff to walk very far. So I will now be able to put things on paper in short order. And you may get my personal history sooner than you expect! LOL!

I have 30 days to try it and like it, or I can send it back. I’m hoping it is as good as the hype I keep seeing.

(Thanks!)

Good luck - it sounds very interesting. It appears we’ll put up our Christmas tree tonight. This heat and humidity is making my extremities swell, so I will have to listen in from the recliner, I fear.

You have no idea what you can do from a recliner when you have two or more remotes...

You shall be FEARED!

Especially if you have a Restorative and some pretzels!

LOL!

"Have you ever seen “Big Bang Theory”? Pat is Sheldon."

When he's ready to build his backyard Death-Ray, or just the nuclear power supply for it, I can advise him.

First clue; develop an interest in going ocean or bay fishing. Under the boat, use my "Uncle Bob's Patented Redneck Uranium Magnet" to collect your own yellowcake. (That way, your materials acquisition will not be noticed by the Powers-That-Snoop.)

And if anyone asks what you're trying to do, just say "fishin'", with enough of an accent that the truly astute and observant individual could realize that you said, "fission".

Honesty is the best policy.

LOL, yes.
I am quite fictional.
..or was that ‘figment’?
Don’t know anymore, I’ve been accused of so many things over the years I can’t keep track of whether or not I am an imagination run wild, an escaped dream, or a phantom run amok.
So I’ll split the difference and claim that I am merely a short skinny guy who looks suspicious on the street.

OOOooo! I’ve heard that the Dragon software is very good. You must please report on your experiences with it. I saw the software on a store shelf as I was out shopping, today, and stopped for a couple of minutes to consider buying it.

There are plenty of “writing” assignments going on in our house, but the kids, being highly logical in anything that is to their advantage, argue in favor of doing their “writing” on the computer.

You can see how the Dragon software might help this situation even more.

I’ve got so many stories that need to be transcribed, but the arthritis in my fingers is getting pretty bad this year. Psoriatic arthritis has shown up again after a 30 year hiatus, so what used to work just fine is giving me a lot of pain. Elbows, knees, wrists and fingers.

Although walking 1-1/2 miles once or twice a week has helped me lose 40 pounds, it’s making the major joints very angry with me. So I’m looking forward to testing the new software.

It’s been advertised here for six months, and I promised me that if I could afford it, I would buy it. Affording it coincides with Christmas, and that suits me just fine!

I will, indeed, give you a report on it.
