I woke up this morning, realizing that my grandchildren will probably never even hear the CHRISTmas songs I grew up with. I sang these songs from my heart with friends, as we went CHRISTmas carolling each December.
They will never sing them in their school CHRISTmas plays or performances, or hear them on the radio, or see them on Television.
They will never go carolling, as I did as a child, and feel the snowflakes touch their faces, as they sing of the celebration of the birth of our LORD, as they huddle together and sing proudly to loving strangers.
Songs such as:
* Smile *
Thanks, DD .... she will enjoy this.
TY, Jaycee.
Thank you, Jaycee.
I’ve had that in my archives and am happy I found it a couple of days ago so I could post it today.

Very special graphic for today, Teenie. Thank you for sharing.
And, heaviness to the heart!
This kitty is adorable, Kitty. Marissa will love it, as she loves kittens. She would adopt every kitten she sees if I would let her. :)
Thank you.
Thank you, Teenie. I have several openings saved that Billie and MamaBear made for AP.
Wonder if they are out in the wild...in a zoo...or what. Two very unusal species to be seen together. Just hoping they are being taken care of.
TY, Teenie.
Do NOT let the cat
blow out your candles!
And have a
WONDERFUL Birthday, honey!
It makes me sad too, yorkie. I was thinking the other day that I am so lucky that Greg and Barry went to school when they did. I loved going to their Christmas programs each year and hearing all those angel voices singing many of the songs you have listed.
Barry went to school with a little Jewish boy and he sang in their programs too! We had no divisions back then. Now, I think of my grandchildren and great grandchildren and they will never get to take part in these precious Christmas programs. They will of course, get to have experiences like this in their churches. They always have a wonderful program and I go if I’m able!
Thanks for all the songs you have listed!!
Thank you for the links, Yorkie.
At next week’s AWANA meeting, they will be singing Christmas Carols. MrJust and I are also invited for the caroling and pizza.
LOL
Thanks, Yorkie. She will love this .... I’m sure MrMittens will be invited to the party tonight. Hope she doesn’t invite him to help with the candles. :)

Oh that poor kitty. Thank you, Kitty and a WF Wednesday.
Why am I giggling as I look at your graphic? He does not look very happy. :~ ]
: )
Thanks for the concert, yorkie.
Awesome post! I do hope you’re wrong, though! There are plenty of Christmas things around this part of the country....so far....
