GOOD MILITARY MONDAY TO AMYS PLACE!
The Soldiers Code
1) I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.
2) I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender my men while they still have the means to resist.
3) If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
4) If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me, and will back them up in every way.
5) When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am bound to give only name, rank, service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies, or harmful to their cause.
6) I will never forget that I am an American fighting man, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower, August, 1955.

"... wondered if you and Dave knew something I didnt!" Between Dave and myself there isn't much that isn't known. Why even I know all five rules of plumbing.
And Dave knows the one rule of poetry, as propounded by Conspiracy Guy; You put the words that rhyme at the end of the line.

Fret-Free Living
December 6, 2011
Does it bother you to see how much attention is paid in todays culture to people who stand for all the wrong things? Perhaps it is entertainment stars who get the headlines while espousing immoral philosophies in their music, movies, or programs. Or it could be leaders who openly thumb their noses at right-living standards.
It would be easy to fret about this and wring our hands in despair, but Psalm 37 suggests a better way. Listen to Davids wise advice: Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity (v.1).
While it is right to be salt and light (Matt. 5:13-14) in this tasteless, dark worldattempting to counter sin by reflecting Jesus light wherever possiblewe cannot let negative forces cause us to live in anger and wrath (Ps. 37:8). Instead, we must rely on God to have the ultimate say about evildoers: They shall soon be cut down like the grass (v.2). Beyond that, we should take Davids approach: (1) Trust in the Lord, and do good. (2) Feed on His faithfulness. (3) Delight yourself also in the Lord. (4) Commit your way to the Lord. (5) Rest in the Lord (vv.3-7).
We may not like what we see and hear from some aspects of society, but remember this: God is in control. Trust Him to do what is right. And dont fret.
When tragedy, heartache, and sorrow abound,
When evil appears to have conquered the right,
We center our heart on our Fathers great love,
For He will bring hope in the darkest of night. D. De Haan
Dont despair because of evil; God will have the last word.

Hi Jaycee! I just started feeding the birds for the winter this week. Keeping water out there for them too.
I have not seen the giant bluejays yet. They are cool. I call them “big as chickens”.
So far finches and sparrows...hey they need to eat too!
Cheers!

My daughter has bluebird boxes all around her house..she lives back in a hardwood forest. Every year she has babies in her boxes. Sometimes a pair will raise 2 broods in one season....she has lifted up the lid of the houses and taken pictures of the babies....:O)
To: TheConservativeParty
Hi TCP! You are doing good on feeding the birds. I need to get busy and take care oF mine. Pretty soon the water will freeze when I water them. We all know everything needs water. I love to watch the little sparrows getting water from my large saucer. They're so plentiful but SO CUTE.

Its the most wonderful time of the year
With the kids jingle belling
And everyone telling you Be of good cheer
Its the most wonderful time of the year
Its the hap-happiest season of all
With those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings
When friends come to call
Its the hap-happiest season of all
Therell be parties for hosting
Marshmallows for toasting
And carolling out in the snow
Therell be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of
Christmases long, long ago
Its the most wonderful time of the year
Therell be much mistletoeing
And hearts will be glowing
When loved ones are near
Its the most wonderful time of the year
Therell be parties for hosting
Marshmallows for toasting
And carolling out in the snow
Therell be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of
Christmases long, long ago
Its the most wonderful time of the year
Therell be much mistletoeing
And hearts will be glowing
When loved ones are near
Its the most wonderfultime
Its the most wonderful time
Its the most wonderful time
Oh, the most wonderful time of the year

Sorry that I'm so late getting here.
Took me forever to get Today's Opener posted.
In addition to having to re-upload graphics after losing them on Fotki,
FR seemed to take forever.
Well .... now it is time to tackle another project. :)
Have a Terrific Tuesday.

The Lie Clock...
A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.
He asked, ‘What are all those clocks?’
St. Peter answered, ‘Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock.
Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.’
‘Oh,’ said the man, ‘whose clock is that?’
‘That’s Mother Teresa’s. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.’
‘Incredible,’ said the man. ‘And whose clock is that one?’
St. Peter responded, ‘That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life.’
‘Where’s President Obama’s clock?’ asked the man.
‘Obama’s clock is in Jesus’ office. He’s using it as a ceiling fan.’
