Ok, this has been bothering me. According to Wikipedia, Cain became CEO of the NRA in 1996 until 1999. This is a 3 year span out of all his 40 something years of being in the workforce. This is when all these supposed sexual harassments took place, right? So my question is--why would he suddenly become a pervert during these 3 years and no other time?

I bet they come up with some liberal feminist woman who claims he served them a pizza with pubic hair in it. That wouldn't be much of a challenge for the dirty detectives and lawyers who hang around the Demonrat Party, waiting for an assignment.
I think that this period and the Deace comments (in Iowa) might all relate to Cain’s origination in the Deep South where men appreciate women and express totally innocent endearments which women in the North don’t appreciate. People in the North don’t like the folksy, friendly, and complimentary talk used by many in the South.
Actually, just like Schroedinger’s cat, we can never know when Herman changed, we just know that there was a quantum mechanical effect when he started going up in the polls that traversed through time and changed his entire history.
It was in 1994 that Herman Cain publicly confronted rapist Bubba Clinton about Clintoncare. That put him on the Left’s radar for the first time, causing them to follow his career from then on. He went to work for NRA IN 1996. Even so, they held their fire until he became the leading conservative contender for the Presidency years later. They do not waste their resources on someone they do not consider a serious threat. That’s why they don’t go after Romney, Perry, Sartorum, etc.

Umm, well, there were definitely 2 sexual harassment claims made against Cain during his time at the NRA. There really is no disputing that. There were payouts in both cases. One Cain knew of, one he might not have known about - but the fact that there were 2 settlements is not in dispute. Did you think this “sleazy political trick” began in the 90’s? Do you think these 2 women somehow knew Cain was going to run for President and set him up all those years ago? Seriously?
What is much more likely is Cain is a forward type of person who is flirtatious with the girls on his staff. It is not unusual behavior, and he very well have meant absolutely nothing by it. Some people just have that personality. I’ve known female managers that were flirtatious as well. The 90’s opened the door to women filing harassment claims over innocent behavior, and it is possible that both of these complaints resulted in payouts even if Cain had done nothing more than being on the flirtatious side.
Just moving from real work to an activity where half the people you meet are alcoholics or strung out on dope half the time probably affects your speech patterns.
Giving you the benefit of the doubt, I will guess you are just ignorant not slying trying to pimp the smear by whispering more allegations with no base in fact.

Yes, but it takes two to tango. I know homosexuality is perversion, but for a healthy male to make a pass at an attractive woman.....this has been done for centuries and flirting is one thing.....and natural. A lot of time, the women instigates the invitation. We now say that anything can be “sexual harassment”—the bar has been set so low—yet, for democrats, rape and dropping your pants and asking a girl to kiss it—is ok, as is going to bathhouses, like zero. Playing with cigars in sexual ways is also, “OK”. And paying women from campaign money who have your child is also ok, too, as hiring your sexual partners and providing a pimping co. like Frank.
It will be interesting to see what constitutes “harassment”—whether is is a pubic hair on a coke can!!!!!! GEEEZZZZ. Democrats are so irrational it is staggering. They have absolutely no capacity for logic and science—such as Heather has two mommies. They are morally bankrupt and want a Sodom and Gomorah type world for our children.
They really care nothing about “sexual harassment” laws which should be unconstitutional—it is a government tool to destroy people who aren’t atheist/marxist/muslim and tries to destroy their marxist utopia they are trying to create. It is controlling thoughts that this is all about—and they hate the way Cain “thinks” because he believes in Jesus. It is no longer allowed in the public square.

1) The woman files a complaint (it may be totally bogus or it may be she took friendliness the wrong way).
2) Insurance company says, at a minimum, it's going to cost us $35,000 to go to court.
3) We settle no matter what really happened. You (the business owner) have no choice in the matter.
