OK, so what am I going to use in "Jack and Cokes?" instead of Coke? (Vanity "plus")

Since Coke is giving $ to the WWF, I don't want to buy their product. What is a good substitute for my "Jack & Cokes"? I don't care for "Jack & Pepsi".

We’re on the same page, GeronL! RC or a store brand. Many of the store brands are really good. I get Shoppers brand and everyone loves it. Plus, they have 3 liter bottles... just in case someone plans on a lotta drinkin! LOL!!

My wife likes Crown Royal with a cola too. I like Johnnie Walker red label scotch.

The only thing you need, is a glass.

It’s probably in here somewhere already but a little Jack in a cup of coffee works really well. Otherwise, just a couple of cubes of ice is all it needs.

1) I don’t know if you can find it where you are located, and 2) I have no idea what their corporate politics are like, but I suggest you try Red Rock Cola. It only comes in 12oz glass bottles, as far as I’m aware.

Red Rock is awesome. Tastes very much like Coca-Cola, just stronger and sweeter. It’s made in Atlanta, and the original company and recipe supposedly pre-dates Coca-Cola company...

Sometimes a glass of ice water to chase a sip with is acceptable.

Well, I don't drink any more... but gosh, when I did, I loved chasing my whiskey with a nice cold glass of beer.

Any cola is an affront to any Tennessee sippin' whiskey or Kentucky Bourbon, for that matter. A splash of water, if you must. Better, just rocks. Disclaimer: I am at five years of non sippin', but I had to share some truth for those who need it.

I’m lazy. Keep the bottle in the freezer. Open it, take a slug, and put it back. Nothing to wash!

I like Johnnie Walker red label scotch.

That's my favorite blended scotch.

Branch water.

I have heard of that all my life. Where do you get it and what is so great about water from a branch?

“Branch water.”

Don’t hold me to this because I’m a Bushmill’s gal and I drink it neat with a Guiness Stout on the side but in the old days they used spring water which was pure and sweet. So I think its Spring water. Maybe somebody else will chime in here and add to my info.

So I think its Spring water.

From a stream, not well water.

A whiskey’s first name should be Glenn, not Jack.
