Linda likes to dig holes that go halfway to china, and then sleep in them.

What a great find, yorkie!
We should all live such a simple life. ('Cept, no 'puters? Pehaps I should re-think that one...lol.)

We had a GS that did the same thing. Some of her findings were amazing!

I was just talking to my 21 year old son yesterday about times past. Remember the days when on Sunday nothing was open (blue laws) and no one was around because all were in Church? People honored the Sabbath day, now everything is open, people have to work that day and have no choice. When I had to work on a Sunday I got paid overtime. Usually during the Christmas season and people went shopping for a couple Sundays before Christmas.
So sad to see empty Churches, congregations fallen apart due to people having no Faith any longer. Government and businesses work overtime to get and keep God and Christ out of the arena where once HE was welcomed with open arms, hearts, minds and souls.
When I say the “old days’... I think of these things but also family visits and neighborhoods where everyone knew everyone else, communities helped each other out. So sad where we are today, I miss the “Old Days”!

Good morning, Meg. I love your covered bridge graphic, as well as the covered bridge poem.
Several years ago, a cousin and I did some genealogy research in Iowa. There was a covered bridge in one of the areas our ancestors had lived. It was wonderful walking across that bridge (could no longer drive on it) and imagining us walking in our ancestors’ foot steps.
Wishing you a delightful Tuesday.
