In my opinion, the balance is off here!! A “cancer” center and a ban on “religious “decorations! I would think this place would “welcome” such decorations. But what do I know?

AMEN, Conor! We need to get this kind of information out to the people through any means. I can send out to about 25 people via email and if they would do the same, maybe something could be done. Fox News would be the only network that would announce something like this as the others certainly will not take up for the church and its people!
This country can fail. We've always been a good, loving, and religious country and all that's falling apart it seems!

Glad your turkey was a big hit with the family!! Had Thanksgiving with friends! It was wonderful and the food was “perfect”!!

We go to a local farm every year to get our turkeys fresh-killed. It's amazing the difference in flavor between fresh-killed and frozen turkey. We've never been disappointed.

What I am about to post will problably be read by one or two. But I am totally SHOCKED at what I heard, yesterday.....
One of the guests at Thanksgiving dinner was the DIL of the host. She is a teacher in Texas.
She HATES her job as an eighth grade teacher.
Why? Because she has been ordered by the Teacher’s Union to NEVER fail a “BLACK” or an “Hispanic”. She can only fail caucasions in her class....all the others get a “Free Pass”.
She said, that because the blacks and hispanics are given a passing grade, no matter what - they don’t even do their homework. Because they don’t “HAVE” to. All they have to do is show up to class, and they get a passing grade.
THIS IS JUST ONE OF THE REASONS OUR COUNTRY IS HEADING IN THE DIRECTION IT IS.

I've heard this before...it's no shock to me. If you talk to some of the younger generation you know it's true. They don't speak well, write coherently, or know their math facts.
In the 70s I worked for a very large school district. Students would come in to get a work permit. They couldn't even fill out the form correctly. And, older ones? Filling out a form to get their high school transcripts was unreadable. So, the dumbing down has been going on for a long time.
Some school districts won't hold back any child...ethnicity makes no difference. They pass them all.
I'm so glad I won't be around to see what's going on come 20??. I weep for my once great country!
