LOLOL about more candy! I started packing up some of the haunted house items, and just had to imbibe, sigh...
Well, the main thing I’ve long heard is, for cleanses, fasts, or just general health/increasing circulation, is to have a couple of tablespoons of lemon with hot water, first thing (or within 20-30 minutes) of when you get up.
We had an AMAZING lemon tree, with hundreds of lemons, until a horrible freeze last winter. Back then, I squeezed a lemon a day into my morning tea (or just in plain hot/warm water). Our lemons were as organic as could be.
Now, I have to get store-bought ones unless they’re in season at the Farmer’s Market.
Anyway, so I try to have half a lemon in the morning, just directly in my mate tea. I do notice that it helps my circulation — can tell that my face looks better! And I stay cold-free (knock wood), and so on. Maybe that’s the whole kidney thing too ! ?
The juice also helps keep you alkaline... one theory behind staying cancer-free (some celebrities “do” one lemon each morning and night).
It’s just one thing that is so easy to do and easier than the green shakes and other things (we do those too, but not all the time).
So, that’s that.... heh :0)
Just right for Wednesday! :-)
Love those Golden Retrievers!
The United States has spent millions of dollars looking for water on Mars. A few years ago, NASA sent twin robots, Opportunity and Spirit, to the red planet to see if water was present or had been present at one time. Why did the US do this? The scientists who are poring over data sent back from those two little Martian rovers are trying to figure out if life ever existed on Mars. And for that to have happened, there had to be water. No water, no life.
Two thousand years ago, a couple of rovers set out across the countryside of an Earth-outpost called Samaria looking for water. One was a woman who lived nearby. The other was a man from Galilee. They ended up meeting at a well near the village of Sychar. When they did, Jesus found the water He was looking for, and the woman found the water she didnt know she needed (John 4:5-15).
Water is essential for both physical and spiritual life. Jesus had a surprise for the woman at the well. He offered her the Water of LifeHimself. He is the refreshing, renewing fountain of water springing up into everlasting life (John 4:14).
Do you know anyone looking for water? Someone who is spiritually thirsty? Introduce that person to Jesus, the Living Water. Its the greatest discovery of all time.
” I hate 6th grade homework!! LOL “
Have you tried 7th grade algebra lately ? : )
Thanks Mayor. We are studying John in our tuesday night bible study right now. Good stuff.
Well, isn’t that a coincidence! I was thinking about YOU, today, too!
So sweet, Teenie! Thank you!
You too, yorkie!
It used for sacred, ceremonies, and for washing dirty laundry. It is the morning dew, humidity in the air, and like 'Dennis the Menace' said, "the water we drink is the water that was here during the dinosaur time? bletch!!"
Water wars were part of the early cattlemen days. Water is predicted to become the most wanted, necessary, and in shortage in the near future.!!! Amazing when we consider it.
Christ offers us living water, with which we will never thrist again.
Our God is an amazing God. He maintains, sustains, and remains the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
NOTHING is too hard for HIM;
In Revelations 22:1-7, the Holy City of God the New Jerusalem
King James Version (KJV)
"1.And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2.In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3.And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4.And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5.And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6.And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7.Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. ..."

I always liked his poetry back in “the Belvedore Room”, with bent feather and the regulars, Trike, ralph, comache, wilson, etc. . It all fell apart. I still miss it. Somehow poetry has not continued to be something I do. Getting attached to friends made on the Internet threads is likely to cause pain when they disappear or leave, often abruptly.
Is “the Belevedore Room" in the archives here? I am not an adept computer person.
Happy Thursday, Geo.
Fish Hawk comes by once in awhile. Maybe we can call him over today. LOL
Trike = WayzataJOHNN
I do not know if the others you mentioned are here or not. I believe Liberty Valance was a Belvedore Room regular. He is still on FR.
I do not believe the Belvedore Room is still in the archives. Cote Blanche may still have a room at another site. She passed a few years ago, but wayzakaJOHNN will know whether it is still active.
It is very difficult when our friends disappear with no trace. It was so wonderful to find Dubya. Not knowing is so darn hard.
