Oh how disciplined you are! I do not have much of that in me...LOL! As I'm getting older, I allow myself to indulge and I don't mean go overboard BUT I have what I want in moderation! By the way, how do you do the lemon juice thing? Do you mix it with something,,,,clue us in when you get a minute! Lemon juice helps with the kidneys, so I've heard. You may know of this. After I eat some more candy after while maybe I can have the lemon juice concoction....;o)

LOLOL about more candy! I started packing up some of the haunted house items, and just had to imbibe, sigh...

Well, the main thing I’ve long heard is, for cleanses, fasts, or just general health/increasing circulation, is to have a couple of tablespoons of lemon with hot water, first thing (or within 20-30 minutes) of when you get up.

We had an AMAZING lemon tree, with hundreds of lemons, until a horrible freeze last winter. Back then, I squeezed a lemon a day into my morning tea (or just in plain hot/warm water). Our lemons were as organic as could be.

Now, I have to get store-bought ones unless they’re in season at the Farmer’s Market.

Anyway, so I try to have half a lemon in the morning, just directly in my mate tea. I do notice that it helps my circulation — can tell that my face looks better! And I stay cold-free (knock wood), and so on. Maybe that’s the whole kidney thing too ! ?

The juice also helps keep you alkaline... one theory behind staying cancer-free (some celebrities “do” one lemon each morning and night).

It’s just one thing that is so easy to do and easier than the green shakes and other things (we do those too, but not all the time).

So, that’s that.... heh :0)
