I love the Savannah, but the cost starts in the thousands and I have seen some up to 8000 thousand dollars..you can get them under 1000 depends on if you want breeding stock and how many generations they are from the Serval. Thats an African small wild cat that is the bases of the breed. They are very tall and seem to have maintained the long legs of the wild cat...Not a cat you let roam the neighborhood at that price...they do maintain a wild look but are suppose to be of a good disposition. First generation are usually breeding only 1/2 wild 1/2 domestic.
When I first found them did quite a bit of research on them...It took 5 generations to get a fertile male. Hybrids are usually sterile.

I just read this about them: Savannah cat is considered one of the larger races of domesticated cats. Savanna is generally compared with dogs in their loyalty, and they will follow their owners around the house like a dog. They also can be trained to walk on the rope, and even fetch. Savanna is reported as very social and friendly with new people and other cats and dogs, while others can run and hide or revert to hissing and growling when seeing a stranger. Savannah is very curious, and have been known to get into all sorts of things. They often learn how to open doors and cabinets, Savannah is a cat that is not afraid of water and more people will play or even immerse themselves in water. Some owners even take a bath with their cats Savannah.

I read one time" we could not do anything we didn't believe was right". Immediately I jumped in with ‘the what about this and that ', ... and we all know there are many crimes, etc., the answer was ... they feel or think they are justified due to circumstances. Been mulling that over for sometime. Soldiers kill the enemy. Because it ...
At heart we do not do that which we do not believe is okay according to our judgment. which is the story of the Bible, men do that which seems right in their own eyes. Our true measure is the Word of God. We are to do according to His Word. Most of us but thinly know it. Makes one wonder about the truth or sincerity of the faith of some. God knows.
Father God help us in this day, Thou knows our heart, change us Lord to be pleasing before thee and guide us into truth. Forgive us, we thank thee for thy many blessing given us daily. Open our eyes that we may see all thou has for us to be, in Jesus name, amen.

Thank you, Jaycee. It’s getting better. I did stay home from
work today. Didn’t want to infect everyone else...and, truthfully...
didn’t really want to go anyway. LOL!

LOL! That pretty well describes a cat, Meg...according to Barry! Sassy stays out so much during the day (when he’s off that is) but Barry says she’s always on the bed at night, kneading him. After all, she doesn’t have to ask to eat ‘cause she knows she’ll get fed. She gets her every desire without asking. Thats just like cats, isn’t it? So independent!
